A hidden gem, could've watched the whole thing in one go if I didn't have to sleep for work. Main point to keep in mind is the show builds upon each EP one after the next, it's best served in 1-3 days so that everything stays relevant and builds up quickly and fresh in your mind. I can see how people seeing 1 ep a week forget everything once the next episode is released and thought it's random and did themselves a disservice. Same analogy as eating 1 grain of rice a week instead of just grabbing a spoonful.
Visually stylish & similar to Akudma drive
...
- story tidbits & world building are really dam interesting and get told similarly to how Durara & Odd Taxi developed. It's got cyberpunk esque vibes in gritty dystopian bladerunner type of settings.
Base scores based on how immersive and interesting things are, how few time's I could watch an episode and not have to skip anything out of sheer boredom or getting deja-vu from already seeing something similar.
9-10 on the entertainment level, definitely worth a watch.

TLDR: Unpolished gem turned into shit instead of a diamond. U DUN FKD IT UP.
MINOR SPOILERS, nothing that will surprise you.
Aldnoah Zero basically had the setup of Code Geass, Slaine = Lelouch , Lemnrina = CC .
The first season is relatively average, Inaho going seed mode every-time and destroying every enemy in their ``vastly superior mechs`` , Slain not having much screen time sadly.
The second season goes like this, skip everything to do with Inaho and his crew of generically boring friends. Enjoy watching what Slaine will do next.
Each episode
...
goes from 20 to 8-10 minutes of just watching Slaine and his Orbital Knights in action, literally the BEST part of the anime, Inaho pales incredibly had in comparison, it`s utterrly astonishing that they copied and pasted what he did from the 1st season instead of focusing on Slaine.
At the last few ep`s Slaine totally loses his drive, his princess is in another castle, boo fkn hoo ._.
Minor spoiler here.
Asselyum basically announces that she`s married some random Orbital Knight and want`s everyone to stop fighting, Slaine gives up. What he shouldve done is use his `Fake Princess`Lemrina and have her accuse the other one of being a fake all while being beside Slaine who would order his followers to continue their mission.
Bam, a stroke of genius from Slaine and the anime keeps going in a fking great direction instead of the train wreck it turned into.
The scriptwriters should`ve been replaced with someone competent.
- Slaine was the best character, could`ve been better
- Inaho was overbearingly boring, shouldve stayed dead
- Whoever directed this was a moron.
I rest my case.

Valvrave is pretty much the normal Gundam anime, only with a twist being that you need to be a Vampire in order to pilot the superior mechs.
The story would be perfectly fine if they took gundam seed and fast forwarded a few hundred years or more. Anyway if you've watched Gundam seed, GS: Destiny, Gundam 00 you will feel right at home.
Plot wise it's good, it's not obvious and has some twists to it but nothing too special. The story isn't the highlight but it will keep you wanting more.
The OP and ED songs fit well, the art is great, mechs lookin new and
...
won't disappoint.
The characters are relatively normal, although I wouldn't mind having Kira type of personality instead of a weak to strong progression that the MC exhibits.
For enjoyment, well, like I said if you've seen and liked the Gundam seed series along with Gundam 00. Then this will be the next anime inline.
Overall I give it a biased 8.5 due to being a gundam fan. The formula is relatively the same here, seems as if vampire was just added in as a test project or to stir up more drama but remains a gundam anime at heart.

It's not everyday that I find an anime where watching it feels like self torture.
I give it a 10/10, its now my #1 anime.
Here's why.
So I was browsing the forums when I stumbled upon a random recommendation for another person.
...
I was intrigued about watching an anime with a darker MC for a change so I gave it a shot.
Like the synopsis mentions the main character Makota basically appreciates his friends help for getting him together with his dream girl Kotonoha and as a reward is willing to do anything for which Sakaji kisses him. That's episode 1 in a nut shell and it is the most misleading episode school days has to offer, if you think that this is going to be a happy anime then run.
Ironically instead of steering clear of another high-school anime it reeled me in after every episode to further see the story with the main reason being related to my "self torture" statement.
To clarify this anime caused multiple gut wrenching feelings ranging from thoughts such as
"wtf serious"
to
"Dam I can't believe I'm watching this"
Now I've seen enough sad anime's where I'd shed a tear, violent one s full of blood and gore. But nothing like this... I have not seen an anime where the selfishness of an anime character specifically attracts me into wanted to see just how far he is willing to go. How blind he really is.
With the info above in mind, it was around episode 5 to 7 where I thought that this anime will surely be goddamn worth watching to the end. Ignoring my desire to skip every gut wrenching scene and face-palm moments I treaded onward.
Hopefully you will too.
The story, art, sound is great I suppose. I don't really care or have an eye for it because the anime looked standard if not better, the art was good and the sound fit perfectly to reflect the situations.
The character's were interesting to say the least,
But what's really amazing about School Days is the pure enjoyment I received from watching it.
I didn't expect to laugh at the end of this anime, another "wtf" moment I suppose, but saying anymore would be a spoiler.
To understand the story and what's happening as well as why. Well that's easy, but to have a specific reason as to why bother continue watching this anime. It's definitely different for other people, but for me it felt like self torture, in a good way.
No, I have 0 experience in BDSM.

Here's a TL;DR , Who the hell labeled gave this anime the action and mecha genre. If I wanted to watch episodes of people talking for a full episode I would watch Bakemontagari, if you are actually going to watch this crap then go see Bakemontagri instead because this anime basically has pointless conversations and are plain boring. There is no action and the only mecha action lasts less than about 10 minutes of the whole anime i would say.
The anime starts off as your average Gundam anime with humans fighting for their lives against their swon enemies Hidiaazu.
The only good things about this
...
anime would be the 1st episode which is actually interesting, from there everything goes down hill and you will be skipping practically full episodes because nothing interesting happens.
There is no visible story progression, here's whats happend.
Fighting hidiaazu in space, land on earth for whatever reason, become accustomed with the primitive sailors who tell him NOT to kill pirates who would do the same to them. The 3rd or so fighting scene where the main fleet is under attack Ledo is ordered to not harm a single enemy and he doesn't.
There are multiple boring episodes filled with nothing but Ledo having to do boring stuff for a party, one of the recent episodes is literally 20 minutes of a vice captain crying and what not over her superiors death.
I can't comprehend what's interesting about this anime. The only good thing is the artwork.
