now this manga i've come across a few times and didn't read it. the cover really didn't draw me in and the Synopsis left much to be desired. I finally thought "why not? i'll give it a try and if i don't like it i can stop reading." there's not many manga like this: with the action you want and the realistic characters and actions. i have to say this is much better than kenichi any day. i have to warn you this is more gruesome than most fighting manga.

For those of you who are thinking of a passing over this because your not sure ... what the plots about i'll leave you with this:

the story's about a boy who was bullied to the point where he stopped going to school. His classmates looked down on him, his teachers and family pitied him. his life was one big black whole. now his only safe haven is on the streets away from school and his house. plus he seems to have a talent for getting into fights. this is about a boy and his journey on the dark streets as he finds true friends and rivals along the way.

This is my first review and i'm not sure i've done this manga justice but i tried my best.
