WARNING: IF YOU HAVE A WEAK STOMACH OR ARE EATING WHILE WATCHING THIS SHOW IS NOT FOR YOU.
This show suffers from MANY issues:
Incomplete, the story is abrupt, cut short, and doesn't leave much to think about either.
Side characters are COMPLETELY without development. Mains are mostly undeveloped as well, however they get SOME credit since they are shown to care about one another a lot, and given reasons as to why they do.
Those are the main two objective issues with the show. The few reasons I find that others can't find ANY enjoyment in the short series are simply that the show handles taboo topics very
...
heavily.
For example, the siblings show a VERY close relationship to one another, possibly incestuous even, but never shown directly on screen, so it's hard to tell.
However, *SPOILER ALERT* their sperm and egg cells are combined to make a "monster child" that we never see in the show. Said child was not made through the consent of the main characters, nor was it done through natural procreation, so I simply can't see the real evidence for the incest claims here.
The other taboo subject that is obvious and an extreme deal-breaker for many, is the cannibalism. The main characters both play a large role in this, making it especially hard to swallow *wink wink*.
The girl eats human flesh, tearing others apart at times with her monstrous powers. The boy gets eaten by her, since his powers allow his body to constantly regenerate.
While the cannibalistic subject matter was not too much for me to handle personally, I can absolutely see why it could be for others, it's quite disgusting.
All in all, the reason I found this mildly entertaining, is because the art style isn't trash, the music is good, and the premise is really cool to me (even if it went a bit wasted due to the very short run time.)
