it's a fine anime, it doesn't take itself seriously and i wouldn't recommend you do either, the main character is a total blank, he has no real character, he is a force of nature who is lead by other people and kills anything that even thinks about killing him. he never shows anything close to an emotion except in the flashbacks. he doesn't have anything you could call a desire at best he has a vague goal of getting back to his world.
the ghost girl is the worst thing that has ever been animated, i really wish she would have died.

funny at times but the problem with it is that it has one joke for 12 episodes, here is the joke: some big cliche filled set up, shi ne, and it's resolved. that's it, that is the joke. maybe it's a swarm of dragons coming after them, maybe it's a reincarnated god, but the end is always the same "omg what are we gonna do" "shi ne" "oh, what did i expect"
it's funny for a little bit, but subversion of expectation only works if you aren't expecting it. when he was falling and he killed his momentum, that one got me, but when literally any enemy shows up, even the one shown to be immune to instant death ability i wasn't surprised, i expected he would have no problem, so there was no subversion of expectation.
so, most i can say is, it's fine...don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.

disappointing, mediocre.
i went into it expecting some trash isekai, and in that regard it delivered...but it still managed to underperform. there was some potential to see him start at level 1 and work his way up yo become OP through some little gimmick, as is common in isekai, but instead he just walks into a shed, picks up a book, and becomes OP. was expecting an isekai where the MC is a summoner to involve him befriending and taming monsters to become OP, but no he just gets one for free, then a whole bunch more join out of nowhere, they don't show hoe he

got the wolf til like half way through and it was, he met the wolf, caught him in a net, and tamed him.
i seen from another review here this is from the creator of strongest sage with the weakest crest, and that checks out...this is exactly that level of mediocrity, there is no real tension, no real plot development, the BBEG is just generic "destroy the world" type, the MC is uninteresting, unemotional, and just blank. and to top it all off it's the "MC is too powerful so he has to hide his power" trope, so expect shows of power followed by people being like "OMG WHAT!?" and then him having to either dodge the issue or leave town.
this is a show that will keep you waiting for it to pick up steam for it to just putter around a bit and then fizzle out. it's only saving grace is the slimes...they are adorable.

in terms of story and pacing and characters the show is an average shounen anime, the only thing that really kicks it up from a 5 to a 7 is the animation and cinematography, it is DROP DEAD gorgeous. the action is great, the fights track nicely, the visuals are jaw dropping at times. this is a beautiful anime, if it had a plot as beautiful as its visuals it would be a 10/10.

if you were hoping for an onmyoudou anime you will be disappointed, if you were hoping for a bog standard "i want to get stronger" "defeat everyone with the power of love" anime with an onmyoudou aesthetic this is your anime. the animation is pretty good though, and there may even be a couple characters you like and probably more you are supposed to like but really want to crucify.
i have said everything i feel needs to be said, but the machine isn't letting me publish because i guess it feels i haven't answered enough questions, here's it's suggestions:

predictable, did you enjoy it anyway because you like this genre/set-up? no, it's bog standard shounen, if you put shounen anime with onmyoudou aesthetic into chatGPT it will make this anime, if you have never seen a shounen in your life give it a watch.
Do you think the art style is fitting for the story? no, the art style is fitting a persona anime, it looks good which is why it doesn't fit this anime.
Were the characters well-rounded? Did they have flaws and strengths, or were they unusually strong/smart/stupid? no the characters were one dimensional, the story was padded like an a-cup on school picture day, there were like 15 episodes stretched over 50.
Did the characters react to situations and events in a realistic way? no, everything is "i gotta get stronger" and "lets use the power of love"
Do you think others will enjoy/dislike this series, even if you didn't? Why? if you haven't seen a shounen before, sure, if you are 12, sure, if you have seen a shounen before in your life you have already seen this anime.
