Tatoeba Last Dungeon Mae no Mura no Shounen ga Joban no Machi de Kurasu Youna Monogatari is a comedy centred slice of life story with a bit of monster and world-saving action.
The story is a bit lacking and yes, the characters are not developed but it is an easy-going anime with comedy as its main selling point. The protagonist is overpowered and hence, the fighting and action scenes take a back seat and rightly so, since, the anime hasn't got much depth to it.
Therefore, this anime doesn't pretend to be what it is not and solely focus on its strength. This keeps it simple

and consistent from start to finish, that is, it remains light-hearted in all the episodes (does not abruptly turn more serious) and also remains mediocre in all the episodes ( does not go from mediocre to bad).
The animation and sound are also not bad.
In a nutshell,
Who will like: People who want to take a break from action-packed, really mediocre animes to something more laid-back, fun episodes with a pinch of fantasy elements ( like OP protagonist)
Who will not like: People who want more serious/engaging, action-packed anime (like Konosuba, even though it is not that great).
