Some arcs in Monogatari Second Seasons have similar premise with Gakkou Gurashi, especially in a certain two arcs (Kabukimonogatari and Otorimonogatari). One arc have post-apocalyptic setting where the MC is left in a world surrounded by some kind of zombies, and the latter arc have a character having delusion because she can't accept the harsh reality. Both elements are the main theme in Gakkou Gurashi. Other than the similar character designs, the OP song animation of both shows will have some changes, so its better to watch the opening too.

Both shows also features 2 main characters who have pretty much similar goals, but have opposite personality and methods to work. Penguindrum starts pretty light-hearted but then turn darker as the story progresses near the end. Both anime also have similar character designs and their shadings.

The main characters in both anime are teenagers whose powers to summon a supernatural creatures to fight. Both anime are also adapted from an interactive game/VN with action RPG. However, Fate/ Stay Night : UBW is more serious and action-focused, while Persona 4, despite also has actions, more excels in its mysteries, comedies and the fun aspects of its characters' interactions.
