Many people dislike GoPri because of the princess themed plot, some say it's cringe worthy or bad but ... hear me out, this anime's target audience is mainly girls from 6 to 11 years old. So yes, no wonder that a teenager/young adult/adult would find this to be a bit to much for them.
PS: I loved this season, it was my entry point to the franchise.

Before diving into the Arifureta anime you need to understand that the production suffered from the author not liking the character designs + other stuff, so whitefox left studio Asread in charge of the animation just a few months before it started airing... That hurted the production & animation A LOT! → Animation: Minimalistic in sense that there was some basic movement here and there.. but the sakuga & fight coreography was pretty much non existent. _ The fanservice shots / animation was relatively good. → ... Having previously watched go princess & Heartcatch, this season was so blatantly bad (script/direction wise) that i couldn't stop thinking about it while watching each episode. Let's start with the "good" about Kirakira Precure: - The precure character designs were great, specially post-henshin. - The transformation sequences were mostly great ~! Chocolat, Parfait & Gelato had the best ones but the other 3 were good. - The fighting style lacked impact but was as creative as you can get with a sweets related theme for a weekly kid show with a average budget as most anime get. - ... |
