Preliminary (40/78 eps)
While a small suspension of disbelief is something to consider for this series, as it is made for a wide audience, this show is like my second Peanuts. It's cozy, looks great, family friendly, been around forever, and with just the right amount of bite to its humor. A cult classic if there ever was one.

If you are familiar with Tove Jansson's Moomin book/comic series (and the 1960s animated Moomin series that Tove herself hated) a lot of these episodic stories you'll find familiar since it seems to be crafted directly from the source material. If you're curious about getting into it, I recommend starting ...

Spoiler
Filtered by the "twister scene" in episode 6. As much as I wanted to like this and finish it, as it was rather entertaining to start with, Lucoa, Kanna, and the shows propensity to sexualize children made me feel incredibly dirty and uncomfortable, and I just cant see myself risking watching more of this just to see that awful garbage again. No thank you.

On the bright side a few of the characters were likable, like Fafnir, Kobiyashi, and Tohru. The art style is very nice, and a lot of the Ecchi centered jokes are funny, but we have our "things," and lewding children is something ...

A surprisingly funny and nostalgic feeling Ecchi comedy featuring a cast of lovable stereotypes in a complete joke of a show. Everything from the woefully stupid cast constantly fighting over the affection of boys down to the "yuri-bait" (but admittedly pretty awesome) opening theme that doesn't fit the tone of the show at all. Its quite a fun collection of spoofing anime tropes, animation jokes/puns, and borderline nonsensical reasoning behind the actions of the cast for humors sake.

The setting involves 4 "princesses" that in-explicitly live in the human world in a treehouse together with a ghost chaperone (presumably to save on the animation budget) and ...

This may have been the dumbest thing I've watched in awhile... in a good way(?) Ecchi comedies that actually manage to be funny to me are often too far and in between, and this series literally starts off with the "virus" of the episode being 2chan shitposters. It is a parody on magical girl/idol tropes, and in no way does it even pretend to be serious. One scene could be spoofing Gundam, the other could be 4th wall break after 4th wall break.

The only complaints I have about the series is that the subbing from the copy I watched is downright awful, with text overlapping ...

A classic short and sweet Dragonball story, and one that manages to stay better put together than most others. It has an interesting choice in artstyle, its got good character focus (even though as a standalone film you might get a little lost if you arent already familiar with them), and all in all a great Dragonball experience in a new coat of paint. Solid film from a series I love to hate, and I am not ashamed of my bias towards the Gohan and Piccolo pairing when it kicks this much ass. I urge anyone who's a fan of the series to watch it, ...

As someone who has never watched the original, the dub is one of the funniest things I have ever watched. Its as if an "abridged series" of the original show was made, but officially and with more reference humor and black comedy than ever. Regardless of how insulting it may be to some, this is a breath of fresh air to go back to when the world seems to get just a little too much and you just need to watch something offensive as a palate cleanser and crack a rib (or two) from laughing so hard.

Anyone who can take a joke should absolutely watch ...

An all time cult classic series where you watch unique characters do cute and funny things (as many have stated before). I'm not sure how or why its so engaging to watch but its my all time favorite "moe" comedy to watch for a reason, and I urge anyone who just wants to watch something silly to give it a try. Hell, even the opening and closing themes are amazing; Oranges and Lemons was a great choice to pick songs from, and the instrumental tracks played throughout the episodes are all soothing and enthralling. Soramimi Cake and Raspberry Heaven will be forever branded into my ...
