1 minute and 57 seconds. 1 minute and 57 seconds were all it took for me to get completely immersed in the slender, graceful, and birdlike men created by studio MAPPA. I've never been interested in men. I only ever see youtube videos of them in YouTube Ads or Ads at my school for the football team but ignored them all, assuming I wouldn't be interested. know why this animated performance fascinated me, but it just did. "You know, maybe men aren't as unattractive as I thought they were," I thought to myself. If you looked at my search history all you'd find are men-related things. Give this anime a shot and maybe you'll also discover a hidden fondness for men like the main character, who's like if you blasted Shinji with estrogen before giving him a RedBull.
The rest of the first episode was beyond amazing. The sophistication of life combined with the complexity of human sexuality is an amazing wombo combo for this story and makes it all the more beautiful. The message it is trying to get across and the story it is telling is nothing unique, but it is just so well executed and thought provoking... They even added a girl character because the show was getting so dangerously close to BL. UGH! I could rave about the beautiful men in this show all day. You just have to see for yourselves.
