Erased was an anime that I wasn't sure what to think about going in. All I knew was that the ending was wasn't very good. I was glad to be surprised that it wasn't bad.
Story 8/10
The story was actually pretty good. The plot had twists and turns but primarially stays on track. Unfortunately, the last few episodes were pretty unecessary and could've been told in just one episode.
Art 8/10
The art was pretty good, but a few of the characters just looked weird. Other than that my eyes were pleased at what they saw.
Sound 9/10

Re: Zero was an anime that I thought wouldn't be very good. I started watching the episode expecting to be dissapointed that it would be a generic "other world" anime. I thought this up until the last scene were the main character is murdered. Soon afterward he "respawns" at a fruit stand in the market, this is what hooked me. I realized that this anime is doing something no anime has done before. It made me care about the characters, and even become sad when they died even though I knew it would just be reset when Subaru dies.

The second season of Tokyo Ghoul was disappointing. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't as good as the first season was.
Story 5/10 While it picks up were the first season left off, there are quite a few moments that just left me wondering what was going on. Art 8/10 Pretty good for what it was. Gave a very appropriate atmosphere. Sound 3/10 No. Only time I enjoyed it was when "Unraveled" played. The opening is terrible. ...

SAO is not a bad anime, but it is not necessarially a good anime either. Being a huge fan of the idea of being able to interact with a virtual world without having to move your physical body, I was very interested in the idea of this anime. Sadly, it leaves much to be desired.
Story: 7/10 There is a story contrary to what many think. To get the story, all you have to do is skip episodes 3-7 since they have no substance to the greater plot and are based off of the second volume of the light novel unlike the rest of the first ...

I liked Death Note becuase it's a ride all the up to the end. The exposition offers the viewer a great understanding of who the characters are, but leaves just enough that you are hooked into watching just to find out who these people are. Probably the most exhilarating parts are the plot twists that keep the viewer on their toes. The art style is perfect for this anime, it fits the overall feel of the story. The music of Death Note is just right for almost every scene. Overall, this anime is a must watch for anyone who is a fan of a darker
