At the moment i am looking around for a lot of random "Cute Girls doing Cute Things" kinds of animes. In the last week i saw a few other shows. Shows like Hyakko, Ichigo Mashimaro and Kanamemo. Those were some decent shows with cute girls doing cute things but nothing really all that special. Those three shows all had something about them that i didn't like or at one point i just got really bored and i had kind of drag myself to finish it. It isn't as bad as i make it seem i am just exaggerating. Later i was looking through more shows
...
and i stumbled upon A-Channel, with a 7.16 average score i was a little bit skeptical. I always try my best to watch things that are 8 or higher. But the art looked really nice so i thought i would give a shot.
Man am i pretty glad i decided to pick this up.
Story: 8
The story of this anime is just 4 cute girls doing cute things. The main thing i was looking for. Other than that there is no story and i am completely okay with that.
Art: 9.5
One of the things that i absolutely LOVEEEE LOVVEEE LOVEEEEEEEE about this anime is the art style. Many would say it's just some simple arts and colors and moe blob Sh*t. My response? JUST THE WAY I LIKE IT. The art makes me feel so calm, it doesnt look all messed up sometimes like with J.C Staff, like their eyes get all screwy or in one scene the character is wearing shoes and the next scene the character is wearing a pair of different shoes. Everything is so simple and clean and it's really really nice. Love the art. It's not KyoAni but it's still amazing. It's the simple things in life.
Sound: 8
I really like the opening of this anime. It's so different from other animes. There is this one youtube video named "Every anime opening ever" or something along the lines of that that shows what pretty much every single anime opening has in common. Sky shots of birds flying, main characters running, zooming in into a characters eyes, weird shots of the characters naked and looks like their floating, stuff like that. There is none of that. O wait i am supposed to be talking about the sound.
There isnt really too much music that stands out in this anime but every thing just fits really well.
Oh i should also mention that every single episode has it's own Insert song. I think that is pretty damn cool.
Character: 8.5 ish
I like the characters. They are somewhat cliche'd but i still like em.
Momoki Run: This chick reminds me of the Hirasawa Yui characters. The dumb but funny and cute as F**K. She always has this thing where her eyes turn white with a shady-ish black pencil like outlining. I find that to be incredibly kawaii as F**K. Yui does it sometimes in K-On also. And the way she thinks is just funny.
Ichii Tooru: The quiet yet moe loli chick of the bunch. There's usually always a loli in every Cute girls doing cute things show. She doesn't speak much and her voice is rather low but she gets her message across and she is Loli-Tastic.
Tennoujou Nagisa: The supposedly normal one of the group. All her Diet crusades are hilarious as hell. She's someone that wants to lose some weight but is the weakest in terms of athletics among the group and is always so easy to eat a lot of sweets. eating two boxes of chocolates while reading a book. WoW!
Nishi Yuuko: This is the cliche'd Scardy cat of the group. She also speaks in Kansai-ben. All of her adventures of being scared are really funny to watch. And always seeing Tooru attack her with crushing hugs near the beginning of the show was real great.
Other peeps:
Kamate Taki: this teacher is one of the coolest teachers ever. She just doesn't give a flying F**K about anything. So chill.
Satou Sachiyou: This guy is creepy, he has a forehead fetish and he's voiced by Ono Daisuke , who does ALOT of really awkward roles.
Run's mom: She had a funny scene of bribing her daughter to try harder in school lol.
Imai Yukata: She is a creepy Tooru obsessed character but it's funny to watch all of her weird antics.
Enjoyment and Overall: 8.357238RANDOM23087235
This show was really good. It reminded me of K-On in many ways. I am just gonna assume all these bad reviews were because people are comparing this to big successors like K-On or Azumanga. People really should review things based on the anime themselves not comparing it to all these big names. I think A-Channel in itself is a really fun and great anime to watch. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is into Cute girls doing cute things.

A few years back whenever i browse through random forums, whether it be on games or just about anything really, i would sometimes see people use this very interesting signature, a signature of the opening sequence dance of Lucky Star. But at that time i had no clue what lucky star was or did I really watch that much anime to know anything about it. I just had the impression that it was just a bunch of cute girls dancing.
Then a few years later when i got into watching anime i was looking through MAL and i came across Lucky Star and i instantly was
...
reminded of that opening dance sequence that i would see in those forum user's signatures. So i was all like HEY I REMEMBER THIS! So i decided to give it a shot. But before i even began to start watching it, I would approach a friend of mine and seek his opinion on the anime. During that time i just started to watch anime so i was not sure what was good or not and my friend told me that it was really boring and he only watched a total of 5 minutes of it then he decided to drop it. So for a while i decided not to watch it. Later on after watching more anime so i start to get a sense of what i like, i decided to try this anime knowing that my friend hates it.
AND I AM REALLY FUCKING GLAD I DECIDED TO WATCH IT.
I've always assumed that i would like what ever my friend likes since that seemed to be the case when i started out watching anime. But i have gained my independence in this. Basically i watch what i want. lol.
ANYHOW enough back story. REVIEW TIME!
STORY: 9
Even though this anime supposedly has no freaking story, i find that to be the beauty of it. Just how the hell can an anime where there is no story be good? Well it is possible.
The so called "Story" revolves around these 4 girls that just live their lives in high school. At first you might say "What the hell? that sounds stupid" but it is actually really really interesting , to me at least. Lucky Star is one of those shows that you either don't like or you love it. And i for one, loved it.
Even though it's just about cute girls doing cute things living their lives, there are actually a few touching moments in this anime.
ART: 9
KYOTO ANIMATION 'NUFF SAID!!
Haha I am totally a fan boy of kyoani, but this type of animation is what kyoani is known for. The type of animation in Lucky Star is incredibly simple AND IT WORKS!
I totally love the moe moe ness in this anime. This is probably the biggest selling point of the anime. THE EFFING MOE! But there are a lot of other enjoyable things about this other than its moe tastic animation.
At episode 10 we are introduced to the Anime Tenchou, and holy crap they really put a lot of effort into the animation. Once you watch it you would understand what i mean.
SOUND: 9
The music in this anime is great. I am particularly quite fond of the track "FUN FUN FUN DAYO" which i plan to learn it on the piano so i can have my own FUN FUN FUN.
I also really liked the ending karaoke segment. It is very amusing to see the character's seiyuu's sing other songs. Konata's (Hirano Aya) version of Cha la head cha la is just freaking hilarious.
Character: 10
THIS IS WHAT I LIKE MOST ABOUT LUCKY STAR!!!!
Izumi Konata: This chick is f*cking funny. She is athletic yet hates it, she is really short and is an otaku. She lives with her dad which is okay with her playing Eroge's (PORN GAMES!) And to top it all she is so god damn moe.
Hiiragi Tsukasa: I have always compared these twins with the twins in Clannad. I mean seriously, they look the Effing same. EXCEPT i do not hate the short hair one this time around. God i really dislike Ryou Fujibayashi. ANYHOW...... Tsukasa is totally the cute but stupid kind of person. Kind of like Konata but she's more normal like.
Hiiragi Kagami: MAN OH MAN. SHe is an awesome f*cking character. She is just like her alter ego Fujibayashi Kyou from Clannad, which is also my favorite chick from Clannad. She is the typical tsundere girl that tsukkomi's every single chance she gets. She is aggressive one of the bunch and seeing her when she's not is just absolutely great.
(Just a random note, i really don't know why i prefer these typical tsundere girls in most of the animes with a lot to choose from, maybe i just like aggressive chicks with purple hair, cough* cough* Sasasegawa Sasami from Little Busters cough* cough*)
Takara Myuki: Although Mal states her as a main character i see her more as a support character. The amount of screen time that she gets compared to the other three is small. Probably like 50%. Her character is the that of a really intellectual high class like ojou sama that isn't a total bitch. She reminds me of Mugi-chan from K-On. same type of aura. It would be awesome if she got a lot more screen time.
Enjoyment and overall: 9
I really enjoyed this anime. It is something i can keep on rewatching as much I want and not get bored of it. It is not one of those anime's where it is the best watching it the first time around, no. It is one of those anime's that you just sit back and relax and just enjoy the awesome nothingness that brings you a smile to your face.
This is purely my perspective of this though. There is that phrase of "maybe this isn't your cup of tea" Well i don't really drink tea but i bet if this was turned into tea i would gladly say it is indeed my cup of tea.
So if you like a story revolved around nothing and just like seeing a bunch of cute girls and a bunch of parodies than i am sure you would enjoy this anime.
If not, well I can't do anything about it.

To start things off, the reason why i even decided to watch this. I have this one friend who always freaks out over a lot of anime adaptations of the light novels in which he reads. But man was he really freaking out over this one. In the beginning i was not really interested in watching this but he , for the love of god, would not shut up about it and kept nagging me to watch it. So just to stop him i decided to pick it up.
Story: I am going to separate this into two parts.
FIRST ARC: SWORD ART ONLINE: 9
I
...
found the best part of this anime was the first arc of the story which was set in Sword Art Online, which was the name of the anime. At the time when this came out, people were still in the hype of playing Diablo III and people were going nuts over how Sword Art Online is just like watching Diablo III Hardcore mode, where if you die, you die for reals. But this added a touch where if you die in the game you would die in real life, i then can already tell there is going to be a lot of drama that is to come, and i LOVE drama. The story was great, i am not really sure how to describe it, it is cliche in that there is a hero and he gets really strong and overcomes obstacles every single time one is thrown at him, but even though it was super cliche'd the process, the execution was pretty damn great. I don't really want to say too much about it, I will leave it to you to watch and see for yourself.
SECOND ARC: ALFHEIM ONLINE: 7
As far as story goes i would say that this was not as amazing as the first one. Because there was not crazy penalty for dying it made it seem a lot less intensive which was one of the things that made the first arc really great. If you die in this one you just have to wait for a resurrection time, that's it. What is interesting to me about this arc was the ability to fly and that you have no levels, everything is from your own skill. That part of Alfheim Online is pretty cool.
The plot of this arc is pretty creepy and messed up, that is not to say that the first arc's plot wasn't messed up, just this one is a lot more creepy and messed up. Sugou, that bast*rd man, wants to have his way with Asuna and change 300 people's brains and altering them, adding emotion, adding memories, deleting memories and what not.
This arc had a few great points but overall i did not enjoy it as much as the first arc. That is not to say it was not enjoyable.
Art: 9
The art was pretty great. It was calming to watch during the calming times and it was intensive when there was a crazy battle scene. They did a great job with animating the emotional faces. It looks pretty simple at a glance but i think it can go further than that.
Sound: 8
The sound of this anime goes well with all of the scenes. It has this medieval feel to it, since the game is set on a medieval time period. OR I ASSUME. I am pretty bad at classifying these kinds of things. Opening 1 and ending 2 were my two favorite songs in this anime. Opening 1 was Crossing Fields sang by LiSa, She does a really good job and when i first heard it, i thought that it really worked well for what Sword Art Online was at that time. It felt adventurous. Then the ending 2, Overfly sang by i forgot who was really great too. It was due to it's somewhat rising tension feeling it gave when it began. It started off slow and it rose, and had this rush feeling to it which really reflects well on the second arc where Kirito was in a rush to save Asuna.
Character: 9
Kirigaya Kazuto:
This guy is just so damn cool. He acts normal and chill when he's not in battle and when he is in battle he is completely courageous and strong. I can't really say to much other than I like this kind of main character.
Yuuki Asuna:
At first i thought this character was kind of cool, it is nice to see a really strong and cute female that fights and is totally badass. But as the series progresses i somehow feel myself liking her less and less but still ended up liking her though.
Kirigaya Suguha:
Continuing from above, as i start to like Asuna less i started to like Suguha a lot more, I am not really sure why but something about her just makes me feel like she's a better character than Asuna.
The characters in this anime was great, even during the second arc of Alfheim Online, i would still time to time think back to Klein or Mills and hell even heathcliff. I just think that they were amazing characters.
BUT THERE WAS ONE CHARACTER I TOTALLY HATED ASIDE FROM SUGOU. F**KING RECON. MAN HE JUST SUCKS. THIS IS SOLELY MY OPINIONS AND I REALLY HATE HIS A*S.
That is all for characters. LOL
Enjoyment and overall: 8
After i watched the first arc and two episodes into the second one i actually dropped this anime because i did not really like the plot of Alfheim Online and it seemed pretty inferior to the first arc so i dropped it. Then many months later i decided to pick it up once more and i am pretty glad that i did. I thoroughly enjoyed this and i hope if they ever make more it would be as good as this.

Well then.
First off ill give a short reason why i decided to pick this up.
I absolutely love watching RomCom's so i decided to watch this. Simple as that. But what intrigued me was that the main heroine had psychic mind reading powers, i somehow thought that having that kind of thing in the anime would have delicious drama involved. And i was right.
Story: 7
The way they started this anime, on episode one, i somehow thought it was going to be an amazing anime. The first 11 minutes was just crazy, incredibly tragic and sad. And somehow in the same episode it turned from crazy
...
dramatic-ness into something pretty damn hilarious. being a some what veteran of anime watching it was seriously easily predicted that she would get a few friends that would support her regardless of her freakish powers. Even though i knew that i still felt happy for her when she made her first friend.
Overall the story started out kind of nice i suppose but it started to feel a little bit awkward. I cannot really explain how but it just is. The story had potential to be something better but then it went downhill and then it went up hill but then downhill or some thing like that. But overall the story was not bad but at the same time not something spectacular.
A lot of things seemed really sudden, at least to me it did. One particular scene was the rooftop scene with Tsukino. I've seen many scenes similar to that, where the main characters win their battles by just talking and pleading. But man did that happen so quick. She started her plea and within 30 seconds it worked. What the flying F**K? Maybe it's just me. Maybe i just don't like things happening so fast.
The process is more interesting not the result.
Art: 4
I gotta say the art for this is not to my liking. I won't go as far as to say that it completely sucks. Maybe it is a sort of art style, a new style that i have not seen much before. I just think that it feels lazy.
Sound: 5
I almost never even notice the background music playing because i feel that it just isn't that great. It doesn't really stand out. There are only 2 tracks i liked, the ending theme song, which was pretty nice and peaceful and had a lot of great meanings behind it , and the track that played during the serious moments.
Character: 7
Manabe:
Manabe is a pretty cool guy. He doesn't afraid of anything.
Even though he is seriously a perverted master of some sort he really does care about Kotoura which is pretty cool, a typical feature in all the main male leads in pretty much all animes.
Kotoura:
Her character was pretty interesting to watch grow. I know i made some kind of grammar mistake in that previous sentence....
ANYHOW. She had so much doubt in trusting people and in people trusting her and even decides to run away to prevent hurting others, but in the end she goes back. Good for her!
Yuriko:
I would say she's a bitch for trying to use someone just for her own selfish needs but in the end she is really guilty about it so i guess it's all yippy skippy.
Muroto:
Did i spell his name right? Ill just call him Megane-Kun.
Megane-kun was a really interesting character. For one he is small as hell and smart as hell. He always has that =3 kind of face on but whenever he does not have it on it means he is serious. I always enjoyed seeing his serious side. The stuff he says to Yuriko is really great, "I will neither help you or stop you, i am here because i choose to be" That's some pretty cool sh*t.
Moritani:
Truth be told, i really did not like this character. The show wudve been the same , if not better, without this character. She just .... sucks.... but at least she had the guts to confess to Manabe in the end. But still. she sucks.....
Enjoyment: 6
Ehhh this show was alright, it had potential to be a lot better but that's not to say that it was really bad. It is a pretty average anime, i probably would not recommend it to a random person, but if you kind of find this anime interesting from the given synopsis i will do nothing to stop you from watching it. But just a friendly warning , do not expect much from it.

When i first saw this i knew it was going to be a show about doing nothing.
Then i finally started to watch it, at first i was just so appauled at just how much nothingness was done and i decided to drop this anime. Around a week later I've decided to give this anime another go and man am i seriously glad i did.
Story: 9
WHAT STORY!??!?!?!? DON"T NEED NO STORY TO BE GREAT
Art: 8
The art in this anime was really calming, just looking at the characters just makes me feel at peace. EVERYTHING IS SO GOD DAMN MOE!
...
Sound:
The music that plays when Kyolo and the bunch are doing random shenanigans really fits the mood of peacefulness and nothingness. It is great. Two tracks caught my attention though. The track that places where it represents the midway point of the show, I somehow found that track to be.....really catchy and is something i would hear in an action anime, It does not really fit this anime but somehow i am glad that it is there because every time it reaches the midway point i get all excited to hear that track because of how action-y it sounds. The other one was the ending song, the one that they used near the latter half of the show. I like that song. That is all....
Character:
Kyolo- He's your average nice guy. There is not much to say other than he is a really calm and fun character to watch.
Mao- And She's your typical Tsundere like chick that always likes to mess around with the main character. She also has a special attack, the turn to Chibi Mao and bite Kyolo. I always find myself giggling at that.
Shion- Once more, this character is pretty typical but even though typical, this is the type of character that i usually like in an anime filled with cute chicks. She is the smartest of the bunch and has this Ojou-sama-ness to her character. Everything she does seems sophisticated and well mannered. There are a lot of those kind of characters but Shion here lacks a lot of common sense which makes her a little bit different from the typical Ojou-sama character so it makes her just a little bit more interesting.
Megumi- Her character reminds me of a really nice maid. lol. She is never seen mad until Tama says how Tama doesn't get fat no matter how much she eats. Megumi gets jealous and you can see her pissed off face. It's quite funny.
Tama- To me she seems like a tomboy for some reason, probably because due to her aggressive nature. She refers to her self as Tama instead of "Watashi" or "Atashi" and i find that kind of quirky.
Kirara- Ohhh yeaa the most interesting character of them all. She is from England and she is super mutha F**king strong. The way she speaks is so interesting. All her sentences are just one word. An example, if she wanted to say, "Hey guys i am hungry let's go eat", she would say "Kirara. Hungry. Eat!" Oh and she also does what Tama does, refers to herself as her name, Kirara. When the three seniors who graduated at the last episode, Mao and Shion did a twirl for Kyolo, but what about kirara? Nope.... she does a back flip....... A F**KING BACK FLIP!!!! Man she is so interesting.. We need more characters like her in the future animes.
Jill- Kirara's sister. She speaks only in english. Short words. Mainly, "My samurai master" or "master" or "sister". She always carries a board and marker with her so she can write down Japanese for people to read since it doesn't seem like she can speak it well.
Kasumi- Kyolo's Imouto. She totally has a Brother complex, doesn't want kyolo to be manly.
Seira- The youngest of the three sisters of the Amatsuka family. Her character is of a nice young lady but she has this demon mask thing that ...i guess speaks her inner thoughts or something.. Kind of creepy but yet cute..
Mori- YES THE EFFING MAID. She likes to tease Kyolo a lot and rides a motorcycle, A MAID ON A MOTORCYCLE. WOW.
Enough of characters.
Enjoyment and Overall: 8.5
I wish this site gave the option of point fives. It would alter alot of my anime scoring on my list. ANYHOW... I am really glad i decided to re-pick this up. I definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys really calming slice of life shows.

Warning there will be spoilers and what not.
This is solely due to my own opinion, if you disagree with this i respect your own opinion to do so.
Read on if interested.
I will start with a general first impression.
I first picked up this anime because i thought the art looked kinda interesting and that it was a school/drama/romance, which is the 3 genres i mainly look for in most animes.
When i watched the first episode i thought the way they introduced the characters was just effing hilarious. The way they introduced Jin was one of the funniest ones, a high school player who gets dropped
...
off by car and leaving by giving the girl a kiss. That is just simply hilarious IMO. Misaki had an funny introduction too, when i first saw her butt and realized that she was in his room i immediately thought she was one of the "crazy but funny" characters of the show and i was pinpoint on that guess.
STORY: 10
The story was seriously an excellent one. It starts off slow and filled with comedy which was really nice. It gets serious and dramatic later on but it did not feel at all slammed into us, all of the drama is mostly built up or made sense. Most of the events that took place in this anime seemed pretty realistic to me. The characters reactions and what happens afterwards and whatnot.
There is so much i want to say about the story but i don't want to end up writing an essay so ill just keep it extremely brief. Ill just list a couple of scenes and my opinions of it.
Mashiro's introduction:
As an introduction scene i thought this was really well done. it kind of reminded me of Clannad, Where in Clanand Tomoya walks towards school and sees Nagisa at the bottom of the hill and hears her talking to herself asking "do you like this school?" and what not. In the case of Mashiro she asks Sorata what color does he was to be. I thought i was really interesting how they did not thought i am sure it was not intentional. Great scene, really makes me think of what kind of character Mashiro is what what kinds of hidden meaning is behind what she said.
Nanami's first failure:
I already noticed how she works seriously hard to try to achieve her goal but she was working too damn hard. Everyone has to know their limits, it doesnt matter if you can do a lot of amazing things it it kills you in the end. I felt really sad for Nanami and kudos for Sorata for being there for her.
Nanami's Second failure:
At the beginning when she opened the letter and that pause i thought she failed and was sad but then she smiled and faced them and i instantly got a smile of my face but then she went "I didn't make it" i was like FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU....... But how she decided to stay high spirited and happy and not let everyone else worry about her, at first i thought that was really strong of her to do but slowly i thought that she should just let it out and i guess she held it in too much that whatever was trying to hold in the tears for her just broke and all her tears fell out. That was seriously a pretty heart breaking scene, so not only did she learn that it was bad to hold something in that much, even i learned that it was a bad thing to keep something like that to yourself. This was scene that I would probably never forget since i actually learned something out of this. Even though this seems like common sense it was just not something i put too much thought into.
Saving Sakurasou:
This is a great scene of this anime. They all put so much effort into trying to save Sakurasou and it was really touching just how much they cared about Sakurasou and how much they really loved being with each other. Even the mighty DRAGON who never really helps anybody ends up making a website that informs people of what is to happen to Sakurasou.
Graduation:
This is the MOST AMAZING Scene in this anime. I kind of just expected them to accept the demolishing of Sakurasou and not let the destruction of a building stop their friendship. But HOLY CRAP!!!!! I did not expect Misaki, MISAKI of all people to do something like that. It was just amazing. BIG KUDOS TO MISAKI. she is seriously an awesome character, her thanking each one of them was also really amazing, it shows just how much she really cares about everyone, how she was originally alone in Sakurasou and ends up with everyone else in the end.
Ending Episode:
Rita goes back to England, tricks Dragon into a kiss, THAT WAS GREAT. I support DragonxRita a lot. Then Misaki and Jin parts ways with Jin kissing Misaki and giving her the marriage registration form. Then later Misaki drops off Dragon, Sorata and Mashiro and Dragon says he has to go to a meeting and that made me smile, it means that he has opened up a little bit. I say congratulations to him.
(If you guys cannot tell yet, Dragon is my favorite male character in this show) Later on finding out that Nanami actually budged her father into letting her continuing to chase her dream, i just thought that Nanami finally got a break. Nanami's father was the one who was against her becoming a seiyuu and Nanami pretty much ran away from home to go to Sui academy and now that she went back to Osaka and ends up getting permission to continue her dream, man i was really happy for her, something GREAT happened after so much terrible and bad things happened to her. Chihiro sensei also was a great help in this episode, telling her that the last two years was not wasted effort and how it never will be.
Although having two new random characters to join the Sakurasou dormitory is great and all i kind of wish that they didn't. That is purely my opinion, i kind of thought it was too random and sudden and it didn't really add to the mood. Well i guess its more happiness and that the new "guy" is a pervert so it adds excitement. Also having Misaki living right next door. That is just a Big LOL!!!!!
Ahhh i ended up saying a lot more than i wanted to. Oh wells...
ART: 8
Even though art was one of the things i said that drew me to this anime, the art in this anime isn't INCREDIBLE but it was something that looked simple and good, not something incredibly flashy that would make me freeze in amazement of how pretty it is and end up skipping important scenes in the anime.
SOUND: 8
The music in this anime was pretty good. The choice of timing of certain tracks was pretty genius and really added to the mood of the scene and what not. Overall there was maybe like 3 or 4 tracks that i really liked. The main tracks that they used got extremely repetitive the more i hear it. What I mean is that the tracks themselves were not so stupendous so hearing them over and over again gets just a teeny bit annoying. An example is the track that they used every time when they screw around or are just having a fun time. For some reason i just did not like that track, in fact i could almost say that i hate it.
CHARACTER: 10
I feel that the character is one of the greatest things about this anime.
I will go into each character.
KANDA SORATA:
The main protagonist of this anime. At first i thought of him as a pretty normal guy with a some what normal life except it was really normal at all. okay i take it back his life is no where near normal. The main things that makes him special to me is how REAL he feels. When he got that letter saying that he did not pass and then he sees how well Mashiro was doing, he was mad pissed, he was consumed in anger and even yelled at Mashiro who did nothing wrong. THAT IS REALISM. In a lot of anime the dude would just be sad while keep cheering on the girl and then continue being sad and some retarded miracle happens and they both become happy. That's uhhh great at all but lacks so much realism. I love how real he was. Other than him being incredibly real, i liked how he was so super tsukkomi about everything, he would take a jab at literally everything every opportunity he gets, which makes him all the more funny and interesting.
Shiina Mashiro:
She is the main Heroine of this anime. TBH the first thing that came to mind when they introduced her character was welll.... retarded.... IM SORRY FOR ANY MASHIRO FANS OUT THERE...but that is the truth. It was just a sudden impression that i got, she couldn't do so many normal day things i just thought that, sorry for my childish mind. Anyhow, as the story progresses i got to see who she really was and why she was like that and that is when i really understood who she was. One of the great things about Mashiro was how even though she seemed to be unperceptive she was indeed quite perceptive, she pretty much knew what was going on most of the time. And also he's pretty cute and moe and her "Plan C" was effing funny and hell. I give her points for thinking of that.
Aoyama Nanami:
Sorata's normal friend. Yes i called her normal. When she was first introduced in the anime i automatically thought that she is going to end up as my favorite female character of the show and i was right. The kind of person she is, is just truly truly admirable. She works incredibly hard in order chase the dream of hers to become a seiyuu. Every single time when she fails it just hurts so much to see it. I also like to refer back to the whole Sorata being real thing, Nanami's character being in this show adds realism. There are people out there who try so hard and get pretty far but in the end it doesn't even matter. I just can't stop saying that this show is so real. ANYHOW, i really wished that Sorata ended up with Nanami, they are both really hard workers and it looks that their possible future professions can compliment each other. e.g: Nanami voice acting for Sorata's games and what not.
Also how she goes into Kansai ben mode when she's really pissed/depressed or i guess serious, is a pretty interesting things. And i found it cute.. wwwwwwwww
Kamiigusa Misaki:
Misaki has got to be one of the most interesting characters in anime history. She is incredibly gifted in making anime's. Her personality is just crazy good. She is always happy and full of joy. She loves Jin and does a lot of crazy things to get his attention and i find them crazy funny.
Mikata Jin:
There is usually the cool and clam character that knows a lot of things and always helps the main character out when they need it. Jin is one of those people. Jin has this inferiour complex where he thinks hes not worth of Misaki and wouldn't date her even though he loves her. He's a cool character.
Akasaka Ryuunosuke:
AKA DRAGON. Dragon didn't even show his face for like the first half season and i always wondered if he was a he or a she because he had long hear and was voiced by Horie Yui, which is a seiyuu who also voiced soft voiced guys in many animes along with female characters too. So i was confused with his gender but later on i had a confirmation that he was indeed a dude. His character is the typical "know it all" kind of character, who just knows all the small things and details and is the smartest one of them all. Not only does he know how to program and hack into the school to get information he wants, he understands friendship. When Sorata was all depressed that the school was gonna shut down Sakurasou and thought it would end his friendships with everyone else, Dragon responds" Is your friendship with everyone so small that the collapse of a building would tear it apart?". Even thought Dragon experienced something terrible in the past where he lost all of what he would call friends, he sure knows a lot about it. I liked how he ends up helping everyone save Sakurasou even though it seemed like he didn't want to do anything with it. Now he has people that he can truly call friends. It's a beautiful thing really...
Ainsworth Rita:
Mashiro's painting friend who lives in England. Not much to say about her other than her existence in the show makes Ryuunosuke...uhh i mean DRAGON a lot more awesome.
Sengoku Chihiro:
BADASS SENSEI!
SHE DRINKS!
Fujisawa Kazuki:
This guy is pretty awesome. He definitely has a crush on BADASS SENSEI and he really does help Sorata with everything. If i ever had something to work with that is as cool as Kazuki is, I would be a happy man.
There are other characters but i feel that their role in this was pretty minor. There's Miyahara, the friend of Sorata, he's a pretty cool guy, even though he was rejected he still cheers Nanami on. Great guy really.
Enjoyment: 9
This anime was really great, one of the better ones i have seen in a long while. I really really enjoyed this anime, this is one of the animes that i would anxiously wait each week to watch. I would honestly say that i am sad that this anime is over. And also this was done by JC STAFF!!!!!! A lot of people always say that JC STAFF ruins a lot of animes and ends up rushing endings, cough** cough** TORADORA*** cough*** cough****. But I think they outdone themselves this time.
Overall: 9
This was a really great emotional roller coaster ride. I definitely recommend this to ANYONE who enjoys drama. I cannot say that the romance of this show was strong, in fact i felt it lacked A LOT. It really feels like the show could've been roughly the same WITHOUT any sort of romance. It would take some drama out though, I just feel that the romance between Mashiro and Sorata is pretty dull.
THIS IS JUST MY 2 CENTS. FEEL FREE TO LEAVE A COMMENT ABOUT ANYTHING ON MY PAGE, CHANCES ARE I WOULD RESPOND.
THANKS FOR READING.

Hyouka, which for some reason is translated as "You Can't escape" as the english title on this website, is about a High School freshmen by the name of Oreki Houtarou, who is a genius when it comes to solving problems and mysteries and such. Its a basic there is a problem so lets solve it kind of deal.
Story: 7
Now the story of this anime isnt as grand and amazing as others but there are times where the story feels compelling such as the first arc and the school festival arc. The rest of the arcs are just random things like why did Chitanda get
...
mad at the teacher or who stole the cookie from the cookie jar (No, this was not one of them it was just a joke among my friends). But overall i think it averages out to maybe about a 7 as a score for the story.

ITS KYOANI BABY!
Same animators as K-On and Clannad, everyone knows of KyoAni's amazing animation works so not much is needed to be said here. ITS SO DAMN SHINNY!!!!
Sound:9
One thing that i really liked about this anime was the sound, the music, the OST. Because this is a mystery solving anime, they find the most perfect type of music to go with it. What i mean is when it's mystery solving time, they would play a song that accompanies the character as they attempt to go at solving the mystery. It is hard to put it in words or i am just simply bad at expressing it. Lets just go with that the music fits the moment really well and most of the OST of this anime is seriously really peaceful and relaxing.
Character: 10
Now this!! THISSSSS is where i think this show shines the most, other than the animation being incredibly shiny already. The character development is just simply amazing, this is the sole thing that got me seriously hooked on this show. The changes you see from Houtarou or seeing how Satoshi really feels about everything around him is seriously really interesting and i really liked it.
Houtarou started as a person who did not give a damn about anything and would not put in any effort into anything and his motto was to put as less effort into anything as possible and he ended up actually doing a lot more than he would've before meeting Chitanda and what not. Watching him chance slowly was satisfying.
Enjoyment: 8.5
I would say this anime was really enjoyable to watch, especially if you like to watch characters slowly develop, emphasis on slowly. But i do wish that there was a little more hint of romance in it for i love romance in all anime.
Overall: 9
Definitely pick up this anime if you want something that is relaxing and has great character development.

I Love K-On.
It has been about a year since i first watched the first season of K-On. At first i was like "Wow for a show with practically not plot this is not bad". I have always wondered and questioned people who watched K-On since i never really understood what was so great about it until i re-watched it a second time. Like most people in America i grew up watching cartoons and some occasional Anime that they might show on cartoon channels such as Cartoon Network. The only sort of anime i watched was things like Dragonball Z or Yu Yu Hakusho. Those types
...
of animes are what is classified as Shounen, things mainly made towards the young male audience so it would have tons of action packed battles and what not and the story is usually someone is in trouble so the hero must go save them. I was really used to that sort of template for almost all the anime's i have watched. Around a year ago or maybe even a year and a half, that was when i really started to get into watching anime of all sorts. The anime that got me into heavily watching anime was Steins;Gate. If you have no watched it yet i highly recommend you go watch it after reading this review.
Anyhow continuing on, the anime i watched right after Steins;Gate was K-On the first season, like i previously said i was pretty amazed that it was a pretty entertaining show for something with no fighting or plot. Then i proceeded to watch the second season to find it better than the first season. At that point i was thinking that shows like K-On are pretty interesting but i wasn't quite all that amazed at it just yet. Around maybe a year after that, I heard news of K-On the Movie being released and that somehow sparked a big interest in me to re-watch K-On, both season. And so i did and i was glad that i did. Since I re-watched K-On after watching like probably 100+ other anime's i then had a better understanding of how anime's are like and i have to admit i loved K-On.
But now lets get to the main point of this review. THE ACTUAL MOVIE ITSELF!!
Story: 10
i Loved the story of this movie. It is basically just the members of HTT going to London and having a good time and what not, it is their graduation trip since they are about to graduate. The best part of story of the movie is that they all want to do something for Azusa since they will be graduating and they came up with the idea to write a song for Azusa. Just a random note, when i was in high school i loved Heavy Metal and Death metal and i somewhat still do but i have to admit, the song that they came up with and played in front of Azusa, Tenshi ni fureta yo ( Touched by an Angel ), has to be, if not top, one of my favorite songs ever. The meanings behind it is just too touching that it brings tears to my eyes every single time if i were to re-watch that scene.
Art: 10
KYO-ANIMATION , I VOTE THEM TO BE GODS OF ANIME ANIMATING.
No joke, KyoAni is known for their great works in animation, examples of such are Clannad and Kanon. (Another random note, Clannad is my favorite anime of all time and i treat both Clannad and After Story as one). But the art in this movie was WAYYYYYYY better than i had expected, the level of difference between the art in this movie and the art in K-On the series is like the difference between a rock and a Boulder. All the little things were just so shiny.
Sound:10
IT'S K-ON!! K-ON is known as the Moe anime with girls who make music. So thus the music in this movie was amazing. The soundtrack itself, as in the background music and what not was splendid as well. All the correct soundtracks played at the correct times.
Character: 10
I love the characters of K-On.
Hirasawa Yui - This chick is seriously the funniest character in this anime. She's the clumsy but funny likable character that most anime would have but i find her to be one of the best.
Tainaka Ritsu - The energetic and loudmouth of the group who i swear is like the perfect friend for Yui. Ritsu and Yui are always seen doing funny stuff together in the anime and in the movie. She is childhood friends with Mio and loves teasing and messing around with her. Ritsu is the most manly of them all. HAHAHAH
Akiyama Mio- She is the most quiet but most mature out of the bunch. She has a great singing voice ( I'm complimenting her voice actress, Hikasa Youko). She cannot handle scary things that well and always goes into this state of panic where she squats own and repeats "kowakunai" over and over again. (it means Not scared in japanese)
Kotobuki Tsumugi - She is one of the more interesting members of HTT. She is basically a rich girl who is hinted at having a crush of a FEMALE teacher and at one point wanted her friends to physically hit her. She is the most random i would say, the things she wants or does is just hilarious. She is really strong too, it's so random.
Nakano Azusa - This is probably the character that got me to watch K-On in the first place. When my friends were telling me to go watch K-On after i saw Steins;Gate, saying that i need something more relaxed after watching something like Steins;Gate. So i looked up K-On and i saw a random clip of Yui giving a slice of cake to Azusa and then taking it back and then giving it and back again. Somehow i thought that was the most hilarious thing when i saw it and that got me interested. Azusa is easily the most Moe character out of all 5 of the members of HTT. She acts mature like Mio but ends up having fun like Yui and Ritsu, i really like that about Azusa, and she is the main focus of this Movie.
I love all 5 of em, they all have their unique traits and what not.
Enjoyment - 10
I LOVE THIS MOVIE. Probably best Slice of Life Movie i have ever seen in my life.
Overall - 10
I am not sure if i did a good job reviewing this and i may have ended up just talking about random stuff about K-On. But anyhow thank you for reading it and hope you enjoyed it.
MOE MOE KYUN!!!!!!!!!

Although this only contains 6 short 3 minute clips it is just as funny as the original series. I highly recommend anyone to watch these short clips if they are a fan of the original series. Watching this reminded me of how i would used to wait every week for this anime and how it was well worth it each time. WATCH THIS! IT IS A MUST IF YOU LIKE COMEDY!!

This is one of the best OVAs i have ever watched in my lifetime. It showed me every that i did not know in just one quick 20 minute animation
Story:
The story was so unique and interesting, it starts off with three random chicks shooting these wierd alien things and a girl totally gets her head zapped away and the other two chicks dont seem to care.
Art: The Art was simply amazing, when ever there is a scene where two characters are sharing a dialogue it looks as if it was just a still painting and only their mouths are moving, in the exact same motion
...
repeatedly, now that is top notch Animation
Sound: I loved how when the had that really AMAZING EPIC battle scene they decided to just shove in Beethoven classical music, i mean bloody battles go real nice with Beethoven's masterpieces. Furthermore , the voice acting in this OVA was so godlike, i could really tell that they put their all into this. Everything time someone talked i felt their emotions.
Character: The characters were the best in this OVA. It was so mysterious since i did not know who the hell was who. It had, Cop chick 1, cop chick 2, cop chick 3, cop chick 4 , Takeru( The only guy with a name because he is the main hero) and other nameless people. They were all very amazing characters. I loved how they all have no backgrounds whatsoever. Truly a mysterious feel to this OVA.
Enjoyment: This OVA made me smile, not just any smile but a legit real smile.
Overall: This OVA is an eyeopener for me. After watching this i came to the realization that Anime is one of the greatest things in the world. If you want a life changing experience i definitely recommend you watch this masterpiece. It will change your life forever.
P.S I Lied
