Personally, it was a very disappointing read. I feel like the characters are not developed at all, it's like the author doesn't consider what to do with them or what their role is in the story. The art is wonderful and I really like the character designs. The story is very generic, the usual shounen, however, it is enjoyable. I will explain more below, read at your own responsibility.
SPOILER.
I personally don't understand what the author is doing with their characters. First, we had Rosti. Rosti is apparently an important character to Will, Rosti confesses his love for his best friend and somehow dies, Will
...
seems to be unaffected and moves on after what? 2 chapters? Not even. The author is using characters' deaths as a way to power up the MC, a tactic which I despise, enormously. Despite the author telling us that Rosti has romantic feelings for Will, we don't know their backstory, we don't get shown any moments of them. Rosti, the very explicit gay character gets killed first, for no reason. Then, we have Collete. The usual trope of the best friend of the protagonist who is in love with him. Her trying to make a move on him while he was sleeping and being used as some sort of comedy was a bit disappointing. The moment we started warming up to Julius, he ended up dead. Despite him becoming one of the very few friends the protagonist has, Will seems to brush it over quite fast. Another point I dislike is quite genuinely, the way the MC thinks. I personally do not like over-optimistic MC, quite unhealthy optimistic. I hope I will change my mind about this series because, now, I believe it is a wasted potential.

It's very hard for me to find manga that makes me so invested, so I decided to share why it's so worth it to read this.
Firstly, I recommend the manga. The anime is good too, but it's very rushed and doesn't follow the same patterns sometimes. Also, please remember that it contains a lot of violence and other triggers that I suggest you search.
Now, Yuumori is a manga that doesn't make Sherlock Holmes the protagonist, but rather, his genius rival called William James Moriarty. If you're familiar with the topic, W. J. Moriarty is mentioned in Doyle's works and we don't know a lot of
...
facts about him, rather than his criminal genius, which is opposing to Sherlock's heroic genius.
What I found most interesting was choosing Moriarty as the protagonist and they've done it wonderfully. I don't want to give details about the story because I want you to read it yourself and find its' charm and create your own view about it.
The art is wonderful, we can also see a change in style and progress, just by comparing a few pages from chapter 1 and chapter 45 for example.
The dynamic between characters is amazing and also, in the Yuumori universe, James Bond is canonically transgender, which has made me extremely happy. A wonderful twist that I would have never predicted and I gladly appreciate the author for this.
Overall, Yuukoku no moriarty has become my top 3 manga and I absolutely adore it. I'm so happy I checked out the anime because of Saito Soma and the fact that the community is so welcoming, kind and funny makes me feel even more invested in such a beautiful creation.

Oshi no ko surprised me greatly. I saw the limited amount of chapters and I thought 'it's an idol story, it might be decent' but oh man was I completely wrong.
It's a wonderful and complicated story, a story that touches and shows the realistic entertainment industry, how it is in its' essence.
I read a chapter and I couldn't stop thinking about Hanabi from Kuzu no honkai, which made me happy to see that the artist had taken part of this greatly.
Now, let's get into the actual analysis.
Oshi no ko seems at first, a light-hearted comedy with some depressively realistic issues, which I love to
...
see in a manga. However, the serotonin gets cut off in some moments to depict very interesting subjects and actions that make the whole plot seem majestic. Ai, as a character is the protagonist and has influence over everything, but she is also the mystery and the backbone of those siblings' life.
I'm looking forward to finding out how this manga is going to evolve, as I know the creators are extremely hardworking and talented.
The story is a 10/10 for me, as explained about without any spoilers.
The art is subjectively seen, but again, for me it's a 10/10 since I greatly appreciate Kuzu no honkai's artstyle (as it is one of my favorite manga).
I enjoy it and love everything. Highly recommend.

I don't usually write reviews, but Yagate Kimi ni Naru is too good for me not to let others know why.
You can see other reviews calling it 'boring' and I can understand in some way why.
Usually, anime is used to show us a fantastic fantasy-based world with perfect people with supernatural powers, however, bloom into you is NOT like that, because it's a very realistic manga which is supposed to come across as a cute story of two high schoolers who fall in love.
Bloom into you is very unique as an lgbtq story in the first place, because it's well done:
- absolutely no sexualization
...
of lesbian relationships - something that is so extremely hard to find in yuri manga.
- representations of various communities, example asexuality
- showing limited amount of homophobia (good for lgbtq who are triggered by it and also tired of it, so they wouldn't want to see it in a cute lesbian manga/anime)
Those are the LGBTQ positive aspects, but the reasons why I believe that Bloom into you is the one of the most enjoyable manga overall is:
- the realism, whether it is Yuu, Touko or any other character, they are portrayed like normal high schoolers with normal crushes, actually crushing the stereotype of perfect love seen in movies
- the characters which are also designed in a realistic way with a splash of anime style (of course, because otherwise it wouldn't appeal)
- the artstyle which i find absolutely wonderful, calming and relaxing to look at
This is a very easy 10 for me, I highly recommend it.
