Season 1: Revenge
Season 2: Hope
See how much the characters changed, how Thorfinn no longer seeks revenge, and finds himself lost and empty with no purpose in life where he is finally aware of all the bad things he has done and that his past will constantly haunt him in nightmares until he meets Einer and begins to know what life is and that if he has an emptiness it is because in life he has to fill it.
I like the contrast between Thorfinn and Einer, where Einer is the one whose land was burned and stolen, on the other hand, Thorfinn is the one
...
who burned and stole it, so getting to know each other and their perspectives on life made them complement each other and learn from each other.
Then we have Canute where he left behind his innocent phase, a chick who did not know how to wield a sword and that does not even cross his mind to kill or the death of others, now he is wise and hungry to lead a good dynasty even if that means poisoning his own brother so he can acquire Denmark and make Canute the king of Denmark, he is completely different from what he was at the beginning and all thanks to living the war in the flesh and blood where he saw his father figure Ragnar die and saw the cruelties of the world.
Episode 23 made me cry, to see how Thorfinn seeks peace without blows or war and hopes to create a world without slavery or war. Thorfinn changed for the better leaving a great impact on every person who meets him.
I liked this season better because I am driven by stories and emotions and this season had a lot of that but Arnheid's story became at times very tedious and long and could have been less episodes. So, this is a good season and I'm thankful that Vinland Saga Season 2 didn't lower the quality. It was great to see the character development of Thorfinn who went from everyone being his enemy to saying that no one is his enemy. Let's wait for this beautiful adventure to continue.

I had a lot of expectations about this anime because everyone said it was anime of the year but I expected more from it. I've been watching 14 episodes and the story is good the first episodes flew by and Thorfinn is a good demonstration of revenge but I still expected more, I expected something surprising during these episodes but it never came, I hope with the other episodes that something will come that will make me think the same as the other people.
Okay episodes 14 and 15 were good and sad, episode 15 Ragnar's death made me teary eyed because he really loved prince
...
Canute whom he raised as his son, he was literally his father more than the king himself.
Askeladd is such a well built character, you come to hate him for the actions and cruelties he does but you also understand that in life it's kill or be killed. He is also the smartest character in this anime which he comes up with ideas that you get to say wow. Sometimes you feel you understand him and other times you don't, like thinking that maybe he has some esteem and affection for his comrades or Thorfinn but sometimes you think he doesn't, so that's the essence of the character, not knowing what he feels or thinks, he's an enigma. Anyway, you can love or hate Askeladd but you can't doubt that he is a very good character.
I saw the last episode and god what an ending, the last minute where Thors sword falls and you can see all the trajectory Thorfinn had, also I didn't expect Askeladd to die, at the end I was rooting for Askeladd I almost cried. I liked the episodes with plot more than the ones focused specifically on battles and the first episodes were good but then the plot was the same between battles but it was really good again from episode 14 onwards making me see what Vinland Saga is really about, where the last episode made me say "this is it".

Maybe many people won't like this anime but in my case I liked it a lot. It doesn't have the best animation or story but it carries it quite well making the viewer (in this case me) want to know more about the main characters and the plot. One of the things I liked the most was that there is a goodness in the family that the characters have, each character has something to contribute, it shows how they each care and love each other, that makes my heart melt with love.
The main character is a plus to the anime, she is always there to
...
help others and leaves us several teachings in each chapter. It also has scenes that are very funny, for example in episode 6 I had a good time laughing.
I love anime with the found family trope and this one is no exception. I will defend this anime like dirt on a nail because I could say it's one of the best I've seen in 2021. This anime entertained me a lot and every episode made me smile from side to side so a 9/10.

Incredible anime, it talks about topics that should be shown, like the loneliness that Hachi has, the search to fill the emptiness that one has and more things. What I loved about this anime was that in each chapter I could feel Hachi's loneliness and felt how bad it made her know that she made bad decisions, on one hand Hachi is a good character because she is realistic and well humanized, we all make mistakes and decisions that at the time we know they are wrong but we still make them, I could feel that connection, plus she was trying to fill the void
...
she had through relationships and being in love to try to avoid feeling that something that is missing, and not feeling part of her surroundings or society I feel she played it perfect.
I would have liked someone to intervene in the fact that Shin being a minor is prostituting himself, someone should have stopped that.
I could really feel how bad some of the characters were having a hard time and that's hard for me to feel. I cried a lot in chapter 28 because it was where I felt Hachi's loneliness and all the pain caused by Nana not being in the house for a month, not being able to see Nobu or Blast and literally having no one for her, and when she was going to see them she prepared a big dinner at the end of Blast's concert, Nana tells her that she can't go, being that from what I've seen in these chapters that was the culminating point and the lowest point of Hachi's loneliness, that's why she went with Takumi to try to fill the void.
I got to a point where I had to stop and take a break because it was overwhelming the plot where it was going as everything was getting worse since Hachi realized she was pregnant. Hachi made bad decisions but she wasn't selfish in the fact that she didn't want Nobu to give up Blast, her dream or have to see what to do to support her child that's why she goes with Takumi since she knows he could provide her with a livelihood and a "good life", Hachi doesn't tell anyone about this because she knows they won't understand her. With this anime I can say that I really understand each character and I can't hate them at all (except Shoji who I hate) but I do condemn their actions like Layla going out as a minor or Takumi raping Hachi, they are horrible people but I can understand the emptiness they have.
I finished the anime and god what a mountain of feelings it gave me, Nobu damn why didn't you open the door? Now I will read the manga because I don't know what happened to Nana that she didn't visit apartment 707 again in the future.

To begin with, this anime is not for people who do not like drama, as it contains a lot. It has love triangles and many love affairs but I feel that makes it special, since who in the life has not suffered for an unrequited love? I think the way they narrate this is spectacular, especially the way they portray Miuna's love for Hikari is beautiful, knowing that he will not be able to reciprocate and that Miuna still wants to see him happy with the person he loves.
I also have a story with this anime, I saw it when I was little, it was
...
complete and I wanted to see it and I got a great time, a thousand mixed emotions. I could say that I have seen it more than 7 times.
I would like to forget its plot and see it again for the first time in order to experience all the emotions and feelings that I had when I saw it for the first time.
Miuna is my favorite character since she is a mature girl who knows that she does not have to go over the line and knows where hers is.
And that's why I will always say that this is my favorite anime.
Once I see it again for the thousandth time, i will write more in this review.

I had high expectations for this because everyone spoke well about this manga and I was not disappointed. The art is wonderful, it has incredible panels that you have to take time to appreciate every detail. The author does not mince words when it comes to portraying morbidities and killing each character that is introduced, something that few authors do.
I have several favorite characters in this one, such as Makima, Aki, Beam, Violence, Kobeni, etc.
* Spoiler * In the final arc I thought that Makima beat Denji but I was wrong, I was taken by surprise that fact and I still find that the fact
...
that Denji defeated her is something that doesn't quite convince since she is Makima, the immortal control demon but despite that, I liked the ending, I just didn't want Makima to die ... she was my favorite character.
My thought in Makima is that the author wrote it so well and I am fascinated that there is a powerful and well written female character. Pochita in the end had told Denji that the control demon aka Makima only wanted a good life without bad things (which would be hunger, death and war, that's why she wanted to take the chainsaw and eat these demons and achieve the good life ) but since she took the wrong path due to the influence of the Government, that's why Kishibe leaves Denji in charge of reincarnating the control demon so that she would not be influenced by the Government and return to take the path of Makima.
I hope that part 2 shows Makima's past and how he took that path.
PS: Chapter 85 is pure black humor, I did not know whether to cry or laugh at the drastic change from going to see characters die and fights to see the chainsaw order a hamburger and Kobeni falling to the floor with that.

Well, I read this manga a long time ago but I will write something about it.
It has a love story as pure and tender as can be, there is no toxicity in between like other stories and that is appreciated. The main character is very awkward in front of love but he tries to leave his shyness aside to be able to talk to the boy he likes, I feel identified with him.
If you have time, read this wonderful manga, you won't regret it.

Chapter 71 (11 of the fourth season) was a masterpiece, see how they showed how indoctrinated Gabi is, being her way of thinking due to the environment she lives in, not like Falco who comes from a family with a revolutionary background and that his only way to survive with Colt is to join the warriors to have a position to save them, instead, Gabi comes from a family with the thought that all eldians are demons and that you have to be loyal to Marley to be a "good" eldian, giving her a patriotic sense and that this is their only way to live,
...
since the truth is that they have no other way (they would end up in concentration camps or being titans).
Gabi does not want to be a "bad" Eldian, which would be a demon in the Marleyan perspective, so she tries everything to follow Marley's motto and ideal. She is afraid to realize how wrong that thinking is and see her terrified face when she argues with Kaya when she realizes that her lifelong way of thinking that has helped her survive is wrong.
Maybe there was no combat but I would say as far as development, emotions and contrast in themes like indoctrination and realizing how wrong one can be, it was wonderful.
I don't understand the hatred of Gabi as her character is very well structured and written. I can empathize with her, being just a 12 year old girl who's whole life has been to follow the ideas of a nation that thinks her entire bloodline are demons and her only way to survive in that prison is to be loyal to them.
Maybe some people say "I wouldn't be like Gabi, I wouldn't have her ideologies or her actions" but put yourself in her place of living in a country where your own blood is exterminated, turned into titans and that in their eyes you are a demon, it's not easy and even less for a 12 year old girl. The fear should be real in that situation and you would only seek to be able to live regardless of the consequences.
Sorry if there is a grammar error, English is not my first language.

I had high expectations because I liked the design of the girls and at the beginning of the anime the plot was not very well developed, they tried to force things in and I did not like that, but as the anime progressed, It got pretty good and is recommended. Something that I really liked is how in each chapter they introduce the life and the solo of each character, at the moment of the plot each one has its problems and it is also something realistic that can be seen many times reflected in real life and that people can feel conformity before that.
...
Also, I know that the protagonist is equivalent to us as the protagonist but I felt that she was always at all times leaving aside the relationships between the other members and only focusing on moments of the protagonist with another character. They should have better connected the relationship between all of them. I would have preferred the anime without the player character represented as "Yuu" (like the other love live) but later in the last chapters I took a certain affection for her.
The best chapter was the sixth, seeing how Rina can not change the fact of not being able to express herself and being afraid of being misunderstood, this being a problem for many people and that will be reflected in a person was something over significant, and that later will look for a solution by means of its strong point that is the technology. And one of the last scenes when the board comes out of her, it was very emotional.
I really liked the ending, it was nostalgic, funny, with a bit of drama and emotional. I look forward to a second season and seeing the girls again.
This is not the best love live of the franchise but it is still decent and good, I hope that if it has another season they can improve several aspects that I mention, such as a better developed plot, connecting the characters, among other things.
Sorry if there are grammar mistakes, english is not my first language

Yes, the story is slow but with a good development, and above all a good character development, we could see how Adachi being a shy girl with confidence and insecurity problems could have a friend and get the willpower to do things that wanted to.
Shimamura did not have in mind to keep people in his life but when she met Adachi she could feel happy next to her and reaching the last sentence of the anime, of wanting to keep Adachi as her last cherry blossom that remains in the station.
I look forward to a second season to see how their relationship progresses romantically, to
...
see how that friendship is transformed into a reciprocated love.
PS: I will read the novel to be aware. I had to upload the review again because it was lowered because I didn't know it had to be in English:(
