Season 3 featured more of Ayane and Chizu’s love stories than the first two seasons. There is still a continuation of Sawako and Kazehaya’s story, but it felt lackluster to me. It was very emotional and I cried several times, but still the majority of their interactions during S3 were unromantic. Their relationship during this season is unromantic in general and that is what they wanted to focus on as the couple’s issue, but it’s very uncharacteristic considering the affection shown in the last two seasons. Kazehaya just seems like a jerk in S3, which was not what I felt watching KNT in the past,
