I watched Haikyuu before Diamond no Ace because DnA never kept my attention, but OH GOD, I watched DnA in my bored mood, and I can say THAT ANIME IS THE BEST SPOKON, so I make that recommendation here because as like me, you need to give a chance to DIAMOND NO ACE, it's a masterpiece. If I can give you a difference I can say that in DnA is more evident the rivalry in the same team, so it's a bonus with a lot characters that you can love. You really feel with Sawamura and you'll wish his success. Ohhhhh, and the main character has also been MIYUKI Jajajaj!!! I love Miyuki and the person who always deserves de number of ace: Sawamura <3 Sometimes DnA reminds me to Naruto!!!!
