This show is fine.
There were some very weird connotations with all of the (predominantly women) who were throwing themselves at the MC to form contracts.
The MC is also naturally gifted at everything, to the point where it becomes a bit ridiculous. I guess that’s the point of the show though, so it’s not really much of a criticism.
I’m trying to avoid spoilers here. The name they end up choosing for the place at the end of the show is ridiculous.
Overall, the show is fine. I wouldn’t binge it, but it was fine enough as a mid-weekly simulcasted anime to fill in my time

Disappointing compared to the first season, but I still have enough nostalgia to rank it a 7 instead of a 6.
This isn’t Blue Lock, it’s PNG Lock. What’s with the animation? It was like watching a PowerPoint presentation with cool effects. Except, the effects are cool in a presentation, but not in an anime. It was an enjoyable enough watch every week. In the rare moment it wasn’t a slideshow, I enjoyed laughing at those weird 3D animations of people’s feet kicking the ball. I’ve tried really hard to get into this anime, twice. Twice, I’ve fallen asleep while watching it.
I think this is an anime where you either love or hate it. I really wanted to love it, but unfortunately I can’t. I have watched many more underrated shows which deserve the hype this anime gets. I’ve never personally been a fan of shows with 3-4 “mini episodes” in them, but that’s just personal preference. However, I feel that these episodes are repetitive.
