The Misfit of Demon King is a generic seasonal anime, however as the anime industry always keep reminding us, even generic plot and settings can become something really good when well executed, and that's definitely the case here.
The show doesn't try to be what it isn't, so I doesn't try to hide the fact that the protagonist is absolutely OP, instead it incorporates this fact into the plot, not only to create jokes, but also to explain the world building and why the world is in the current state.

cliches, a tsundere fire girl, a kuudere ice girl and so go on, the difference here is that they are much more reasonable than in other cliche anime, their actions have motivations and most of the cast has character development, so this is big point in favor of this anime.
But the real core of this anime is that it never stops. Plot twists, battles sequences and world building happens one after another, making a very fluid development, and very enjoyable to watch.
In conclusion, if you have no problem with all the cliche baggage that this anime has, you'll be rewarded with a good execution and fluid plot, with very enjoyable moments and characters. 9/10
