I went into this completely blind only knowing that this was a show that many loved and I wanted to check it out. As far as that goes, it was great: entertaining, funny, and science-related (well... for the plot). Don't base yourself on the title for expectations: it won't quite be that... but that is for the better. I got hooked from episode 2 so if you don't have many checkboxes to fill, this is great: go watch it!

Sound Euphonium 2 is an amazing sequel to the first season which already set the anime up in reputation. It excels in the form of the character development and the bonds that were formed over time though it suffers a bit in the form of some forced drama in the first half of the season. If there's something that stood out by the end it was a message to cherish moments as much as you can while they last before they leave forever.
