Sayuri Hime (Manga) add
That certainly was a way to spend time. The tldr is there's so much yuri out there. There's no reason to read a bunch of almost okay vignettes unless that's specifically your thing.

Plot: The longest story was six pages. This is more a collection of premises than anything else.

Art: Varies, as this is a collection of short stories. Having said that, nothing stood out.

Chemistry: If you like a bunch of premises, maybe you can get into the chemistry here. I didn't feel anything from any of the protagonists.

Skip this one. If you're going to read an anthology, I recommend finding individual authors who have ...

Mixed Feelings
The entire reason this review is "Mixed Feelings" rather than recommended is because of the age gap. I find it odd and I didn't like that major aspect of this manga.

Story: There's not much of one as this is more or less a slice of life story. This manga is more about its premise and character chemistry.

Chemistry: The reason to read this. Yoroizuka appears cold and distant and Kurumi is constantly going off the rails. It's a fun pairing with lots of comedy mined from the simplest scenarios.

Art: In general, it's fantastic! Character designs are distinct with bold, often hilarious expressions and I was ...

Mixed Feelings
Another totally OK yuri manga.

Story: The premise and plot were fine, but nothing mind blowing. The protagonist always lets romance pass her by with bittersweet feelings in her heart. That sounds like a decent enough setup, right? Well, the author doesn't do enough to ratchet up the drama necessary for such a premise. If the story is about yearning, you gotta make me FEEL the yearning! Rip my heart out, you know? Anyways, the structure of the story in terms of timeline is a little odd, but I kind of liked it.

Chemistry: There's not a lot. This is part of what makes the yearning present ...

This one was rough, not because it was bad, but because each story was almost great.

Story: This is an anthology with a little bit of continuity between a couple stories. Each story is long enough to get to know the characters, their whole thing, etc, but not so long as to be more than a one shot. Anyways, there's a tragic vibe present in most of these that is delicious that should have been doubled down on. "The One I Love" in particular feels like it should have been mined for the tragedy of it all, but instead the author chooses to add in complicated ...

Mixed Feelings
A totally fine read if you're into the concept.

Story: Each story in this anthology is fine. None of them stood out to me as being particularly original, though not necessarily in a bad way. Don't expect Maria-sama ga Miteru, as most of the stories are too short too develop into anything. They're little snippets of concepts.

Chemistry: A couple of the stories have somewhat exciting chemistry between their characters, but for the most part, I'd say this is the weakest aspect of the anthologies.

Art: It's generally quite good! Character designs, panelling, and environments are perhaps the highlight of the anthology minus one of the later ...

Kyou kara Mirai is both more than the sum of its parts and a surprisingly good read.

Story: One girl likes the other and gives her an ultimatum: Go out with me or I'll move on from you when we graduate high school. This premise isn't exactly what is conveyed (at least in my translation), but that's the idea. The plot meanders for a while before introducing elements that do a good job livening up each chapter. In the latter half, there is enough going on in an exciting sort of way to keep you going. The earlier, more meandering parts of this manga are often ...

Another totally fine, average manga. TLDR: Go read something else. Even something else that's mediocre will probably be better.

Story: There's not much to speak of here. The premise of the story is mundane to the point of absurdity. I was expecting some further hook or plot development, but it never happened. This is really more of a compilation of one shots despite having continuing elements. In that light, it's not as bad.

Art: The art style overall is okay, and maybe even the strongest point of this manga. Character designs, while good, could be a bit more distinct from each other. The paneling was fine ...

Overall an interesting set of short stories with a couple of standouts.

Art: generally fine, though nothing special. Definitely of its era. Characters are far too similar to each other, often making the narratives a little more confusing than they should be.

Story: Lots a fun and interesting premises. Some of the premises though are just: what if queer people existed?? It's done in a charming enough way that it's not an issue. This is definitely part of what makes the comic feel dated, but I liked reading an older comic with queer people in it.

A fun little read if you have the time. ...

Overall, a pretty good read.

Plot: While the story is somewhat average, it has a good hook early on and keeps you guessing. This slows down a bit towards the end, then ends impressively well with a fun twist.

Chemistry: Largely believable, the feelings the main characters share for each other are well portrayed and make sense. The story does a nice job depicting the different levels of surety of two people's affection for each other.

Art: Great facial expressions are the strongest aspect of the art. Characters frequently have odd ways of expressing how they're feeling in a way that keeps the panels fun. Character ...

Mixed Feelings
Two oneshots and a third that is only four panels. Each are fine, though very basic.

The art in each one is okay, though basic. The first has uninteresting paneling with the second short being notably better arranged. The third is too short to even consider this aspect.
Characters are decently portrayed, but again, basic. The second and third shorts have the clearest ideas for each character in a nice way.
The premises are, again, fine. Somehow the four page one is the best.

Overall, a quick, totally okay, 15 minute read. The best thing going for each short is the decent amount of angst.
