Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!
|
A possible harem and an uncontrollable girl whose love is a more "normal" boy. The two series contain romance, and almost like how Taiga is a fierce girl who becomes a little too much to handle at times, Rikka (Chuunibyo Demo Koi ga Shitai!) is and airhead whose 8th Grader Syndrome takes control. They both contain very little drama, and have comedy and romance, but perhaps not quite enough to know it'll be true forever.

Toradora!

Two very close friends who suddenly realise they're probably more than friends. Just like Taiga and Ryuuji, Risa and Atsushi have problems. Taiga, being short and cute but extremely fierce, and Ryuuji looking like a delinquent who is in fact quite gentle and considerate is similar to Risa the extremely tall girl, and Atsushi the extremely short boy. It can get dramatic at times, as some conflicting characters are introduced, or the two do not full realise their feelings for each other. However, the comedy is golden.

Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakama-tachi
|
Tsundere wolf girl who's like the taller and cooler Taiga, alongside the gentler and more delicate version of Ryuuji. Ookami Ryouko and Taiga Aisaka both have not-so-happy backstories, as Ryouko suffered an abusive relationship, and Taiga with a hopeless father. Ryoushi (Ookami-san) and Ryuuji are similar as the two are not the best one could possibly be, but are still their for their girls.

K
|
Black hair bishounen and the white-haired guy who you know is probably gay, and just kind of an airhead at times. The two white-haired characters, Shion (No.6) and Shiro (K) are not as happy as you may think, and are almost quite dark in their own ways. The two black-haired boys Nezumi (No.6) and Kuro (K) almost seem like the protectors of their respective white-haired anime boys and share a not-so-hetero relationship with them. The two series are not focused on this possible romance, but the drama and conflict between parties - No.6 and the West Block, and all the Kings' groups. If you get emotionally attached to either of these series, you will definitely cry in the last episodes as I did, and I will leave this comparison here before I figuratively break down in tears.

Chibi and comedy. These two anime are very cute and have a plot that aren't entirely about anything. Acchi Kocchi is more romance, and Lucky Star is more school life.

Hamatora The Animation
|
Colourful animation and action are both present within these two series. Hamatora is a little bit more dramatic and contains even a little bit of horror, but the two have similar villains - sharp teeth, long hair, and abnormal ability. The two anime also focus on a certain group of people who are young, and definitely weird.

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun

Two very enjoyable all-comedy anime. Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun is more on the romance side, however, the heroine may not be so lucky. They both give you the same amount of laughs and keep you entertained with each episode.

Death Parade

They both evolve around the idea of death, and judgement. Death Parade is more on the comical side, however, the two contain drama and the work of higher-order beings. In my honest opinion, the two series had the same hooking ability, and I also found out that they are both made by Madhouse.
