If you liked D.Gray-man add

...then you might like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood add

Both D.Gray-man and FMA: Brotherhood last a little longer than the average anime show, without getting too long-spun. They're both pretty dark (but with some comic elements) and set in the late 19th/early 20th century. The plots resolve around a young boy with special powers and a strong determination. The two organizations from these shows (the exorcists and the alchemists) are somewhat similar as well.

If you liked Mirai Nikki (TV) add

...then you might like Btooom! add

Both animes revolve around a survival game. In Btooom! the characters are sent to an deserted island, but in Mirai Nikki the game takes place in everyday society. The participants are either armed with bombs (Btooom!) or a future diary (Mirai Nikki). Apart from the story, these two shows have somewhat similar main characters. There's a boy and a girl, suffering from some kind of social phobia and/or mental disorder.

If you liked D.Gray-man add

...then you might like Ao no Exorcist add

Both series have a religious theme and are about exorcists and their fight against demons. However, D.Gray-man is a bit darker. The main characters are young boys who are training to become exorcists. Their goal is to defeat the bad guy and avenge their relatives but apart from that, the main characters aren't very much alike. Rin (Ao no Exorcist) is hot-headed while Allen (D.Gray-man) is quite calm. However, if you liked the story of one of these animes, I'm sure you'll enjoy the other as well!
