Tragedy stories are by nature hit or miss, but even in tragedy stories there is characters that you end up liking and characters that are actually definable or understandable.. in this, there is no such thing. There are zero likeable characters and the ones you think you might like you don't know what they're thinking- not because they are good at hiding it but because their character is inconsistent.
The lack of decent characters ties into my main problem with my story.. there is no reprieve. Stories fall into three categories, captivating, enjoyable or a hybrid of the two. Captivating stories are those that are

Probably the only one where I will give it an even rating across the board but I think this is accurate.
The story is actually quite cool, being a fan of boxing myself it was nice seeing a newer boxing manga because they are rare. Aside from the ending which I didn't like, the only other aspect of this that I disliked was how literal they made the techniques. For instance they would make it so the MC struggled against an enemy that he could easily defeat only to have him win after 'figuring out' something he already knew, or they had the MC pretend ... The premise was really intriguing, I was sick of the usual reincarnation stories where they become a cute genius kid that can do anything and get whatever he wants, so being reincarnated into a goblin was certainly a new approach. Sadly they went down the same route anyway, with cheat like abilities the MC becomes the strongest and does whatever he wants.
The art was certainly different but kind of plain and boring, didn't enjoy it. Though the human girls, the elvish girls did look cute. Action scenes were a pain to follow and the facial expressions were almost non-existent beyond angry and horny. Characters were ... Feb 24, 2018

Much like the story in the original series, this was fairly consistent and didn't have too many major plot holes (though there definitely were a lot of minor ones). I was a little disappointed when they did the lazy thing of making Shi-yoon practically invincible despite being somewhat weak but that was something I could let slide.
The art definitely got even better in this one, there was also a lot more cleavage and butt flashes which I can't say I disliked. Jinni and Se-ra had me smitten... but yeah both the panelling, the facial expressions and the action scenes were improved by leaps ... Feb 23, 2018

Like most action manhwa this involves martial arts in some form, the story however is quite different even if it wasn't very complex. But I enjoy how consistent they were with the jargon (even if they changed the translations back and forth throughout) and the dialogue was pretty interesting.
The art was amazing, it changed drastically throughout the series and in my opinion only got better. Despite the characters looking somewhat bug like they were very attractive and the panelling was easy to take in, on top of it the action scenes were incredibly easy to follow and they even had some special 2 page ... ENDING SPOILERS
The premise to this story was very basic and had the setup of every H-anime I have seen, though that isn't necessarily a bad thing and the story was very nice throughout the manga. Albeit being incredibly predictable until the end it had a way of making you enjoy things you already knew would happen. The ending was the one thing I couldn't predict but that doesn't mean it was good, the ending was horrible. They made Jun get with his childhood friend but it doesn't really feel that way because they sort of just brush over it, on top of that Narumi remains ... Feb 23, 2018
Very simple romance story that took certain cliches and raised them to the max. It feels as though the story could have been nearly 40 chapters shorter than it was but sticking it out and reading through was kind of worth it, the ending was both satisfying and underwhelming at the same time.
The art style was very 'shoujo manga'ish, so the characters were very pretty. There wasn't too much in each panel so it was an easy read. Possibly the most idiotic main characters ever, but that was half of the enjoyment. Not to mention the overwhelming chemistry between the MCs and the side characters ... Feb 23, 2018

The story itself is interesting but poorly executed thanks to the severely unlikable characters. If they were unlikable in a realistic manner then this wouldn't be a problem, but they are as unrealistic as they are disgusting. There are very few characters that don't make you feel sick to the stomach but even they are poorly made showing some pretty severe inconsistencies already.
The art quality varies drastically having some panels that are amazing and some that are total crap with clutter and overused 'emotional' expressions. On top of the layout being uninteresting the art style itself is one I personally don't enjoy. Any enjoyment I ... |
