Kill La Kill a modern masterpiece!
Its been such a long time since I watched an anime that all of its aspects were so well thought and polished.
Just by seeing the poster image I immediately realized the amazing design. The whole picture was awesome and the logo was a design achievement. I thought I must watch this! Looks like their designers know what they're doing while being original...I kind of studied graphic arts for a while so I can see that many talented people have worked on this.
And the day I got it in my hands came...
STORY: The basic concept of this world at first looks
...
extravagant and a little bit too much, the idea of the life threads... a little far fetched. BUT there's a perfectly good and reasonable explanation about everything and when the plot starts to unfold everything falls into place and makes perfect sense. So concept-wise this is genuinely original and it works!
How is it implemented? The answer is : PERFECTLY! The way the story unfolds, the steady progression ,the development of the plot, the twists of fate ...just everything is how it should be. The script writer is a very good storyteller and trust me watching this you wont feel annoyed by pointless dialogue or needless characters or needless episodes as we have suffered through while watching other anime. I'm not gonna say anything more about this out of fear of ruining it with sploilers. Its been a long time since I watched an anime with such good storytelling and script.
ART: Simply awesome. The color palette , the nostalgic designs and the simple but quite impressive and epic visual effects come together to offer you a visual orgasm. They went ahead and created an original art style that somehow feels nostalgic and reminds us that a good anime doesn't really have to go crazy with 3d pc graphics and all the colors of the rainbow. Not to mention that the look of this anime feels like reading a colored manga. Excellent art! The anime industry has a lot to learn from kill la kill.
SOUND: Most people refer to the op and the ending of an anime in most of the reviews I've read in MAL. Do you know why? Cause most anime only have that to show. Kill La Kill has one of the most EPIC scores I've ever listened to and it can easily earn an Oscar or two and make Hollywood feel ashamed, seriously the score sounds like it came from an epic American super hero movie. The sound effects are just perfect and the voice actors are really impressive on how they manage to flesh out the characters. The songs are also great with the "don't loose your way" being one of the best songs I've heard for a transformation scene plus its instrumental orchestral version is soooo epic! Consider me impressed.
CHARACTER: Oh its been so long since I've seen so powerful characters. They are all so strong and will definitely leave an impression. Very good development through the story. All of them are well placed in the plot with each one of them having their own reasons and distinct agendas. Well designed, great voice acting and powerful presence! In this anime the characters are the ones who are progressing the story and not the other way around,...you must have watched a lot of anime lately where the concept or story forces the characters forward in weird ways that make the characters become almost transparent. In kill la kill the characters and their personalities are well defined and fleshed out resulting in amazing performances! You will remember them for a long time and you'll love them. Specially I mention Mako as the most amazing and enjoyable comic relief. Don't mistaken her for moe. The girl is all about comedy!
ENJOYMENT: you can obviously see that I totally enjoyed this. It felt like I have been watching garbage for a long time until kill la kill came and illuminated me with its pure epicness and awesomeness! The battles are powerful ,the comedy is totally LMAO ...the adventure, the action, the dialogues...OVERALL: OMG this anime is a masterpiece!
No matter what genre you prefer this anime is a great work of art with an epic story, strong characters that will suck you in its world and give you tons of enjoyment. I believe that this anime is 100% fulfilling and wont let down no matter how difficult you can be with your taste. It is a MUST WATCH.
the full 10/10 score is there not because it became one of my favourites but because its that good and it has been such a long time since I've watched an anime that wasn't just great but also artistically excellent showing what the animation industry / art can produce.

cardcaptor sakura...i still remember back in 98 when i saw this anime on my local tv network.i was so suprised to actually watch in tv(in greece where anime arent really popular especially back in the 90s) a brand new production that was OFFICIALY(probably dubbed by the production company and not the local network) dubbed with great voice actors(most anime outside japan are dubbed by horrible voice actors.never understood why).it had a catchy op and even though at the time i was around 15yo i didnt mind its childish theme(at least thats what i thought about anime with elementary kids for main roles) and watched it
...
until the middle of the series.unfortunately it would appear that it didnt have much fans in my country so i never got to see the rest of it cause the network didnt buy the rest of the series.
a week back i was googling around and found a vid in youtube with cardcaptors op!i called an otaku friend i have and he actually had the whole series in dvd so i borrowed it to watch it and see if it was as good as i remembered.now im almost 30yo and i have watched hundreds of anime,so i expected to get bored with it cause its an old anime for kids.but i was pleasantly suprised!
The thing that suprised me the most was the story.all i remembered was a mahou shoujo anime with kids and a simple plot of day to day battles.but when i watched the whole series i was happy to see that they put some thought into this story and there was a reason for everything that happened and there where also some people with shady agendas mixed with some goodnatured conspiracy!its not so much about action/epicness as nanoha or as much as phycological as madoka(the 2 mahou shoujo anime i liked besides cardcaptor) but the story had a nice fairytale-like philosophical approach that i liked, while keeping in touch with a more mainstream western idea of magic.actually i was a little suprised cause i think that elementary kids ,even today, might not really be able to understand the story as good as a teenager or an adult.it also had great comedy and sentimetal moments for all ages without being boring!so i give it an 9 objectively cause personally this is a 10 out of 10 story!
when you watch an anime and try to grade its art you should always remember its airing date.so lets just say that this anime was a major production that it appears that they spared no expences.good fps, great colors and characters designs, beautifull backgrounds and nice visuals in battles.but most importantly the characters never wear the same outfit(+1 point bonus grade!)!except their school uniforms(whitch is logical) and the Lees who only had one pair of ceremonial robes each.i even love the idea of tomoyo being a dress freak being used as an excuse for all those cute dresses sakura fights in!so its 10/10!
sound!amazing score!great, catchy and many ops and closings!not just synth keyboard music but also band and orchestra music that perfectly matched whatever was happening on screen!10/10!even today very few anime manage to have such quantity and quality in music!the sound effects might sound a little childish like kero-chans fly-by sound but i think that that just adds to the comedy element.
Dang sakura-chan is the cutest mahou shoujo of all times!her personality is an all time favorite for many anime fans!i cant say very much other than that she is an elementary school student so you cant really expect ,much or diverse, character development.shes the classic paladin lawfull good personality with tons of clumsyness and sensitivity plus a moderate dose of airheadedness(does this word even exist?i guess u get my point) that will always fight for love justice and the best possible outcome for all.shiaorun or sayorun or whatever on the other hand is a simple guy,but with a lot more impact than he had in tsubasa chronicles.generally the rest of the cast exept sakura and kero-chan are there to complete the set.this anime is primarily focused on sakura(the main hero),but you'll get the oppotunity to learn about other characters pasts, something that will make their roles and personalities a lot stronger and help them standout a lot more.for lack of better judgement i give an 8 cause in the end i came to adore sakura and love all her clumsyness and her weird faces!plus all the other characters mixed in pretty good so there was nothing out of place..
enjoyment...it has action, adventure, innocent romance, comedy, slice of life and many other themes that are mixed in perfectly in every episode!i had a great time watching this anime so its a 10/10!there are some people that will disagree but hey!this a mahou shojou anime ok?if you want something adult stronger and smarter go watch ghost in the shell.
overall this anime is one of those anime that people will remember and rewatch for many decades to come.it deserves the title of being an alltime classic.i also think that it has the same sentimental value many old and successful series have.i know i remembered the image of sakura cardcaptor for more than a decade and had the urge to watch it again after all these years.so 10/10!a great master piece for all ages with many themes that anyone would enjoy watching.plus ,even though i hate it,this anime has the original cast from whitch tsubasa chronicles originated, just think about the mage CLOW and the CLOW world.does it ring any bells?so its a must watch for trubasa fans!it will add more to your tsubasa experience.

this is a review with regard for the entire series(2 seasons around 50 something episodes) so those of you who plan to start watching can have an idea of what this is.
well it starts of as the classic gathering of a fellowship for the beginning of their quest that will lead each of the protagonists to their goals.basic storytelling idea that always works.as far as the series with 1st and 2nd season is concerned the story remains true to that(the ovas are a different story though).we have the princess, the knight, the warrior and the rogue/mage roles filled and ready to go.all is well.and then it starts.the
...
problems with the story start with the first scene.i dont wanna give any spoilers and i dont wanna give you a summary of the story so all i say is that the first scene never gets explained.evar!and the worse part in this is that there is no ending to the story.the series ends "presumably" halfway across their quest.and thats all ladies and jentlemen!that is the main reason why i think that conceptually and story wise this anime fails terribly to tell as about the tsubasa chronicles story.i dont consider this a spoiler.more like a warning that i would really want to know before i started watching.
Anyway,as in the description you have an adventure with magic and tons of fantasy that will travel you across the infinite dimentions of space and time and you will visit a variety of worlds in different timelines.that was kind of unique in this anime and i liked it.But there was no romance.i mean yeah i didnt expect to see titanic but still seriously the romance is so mild that you may even not notice it.so it fails in that..
Another thing that starts good but ends up a disaster is the presence of the bad guys who manipulate our heroes.their presence and agendas are never explained.that was terrible too.you expect this to lead you somewhere but it just stops half way to the end...if there ever is an end to these chronicles..just check the manga and you'll understand.
so concerning the story it completely fails!...better to read the manga and watch this anime just to satisfy your curiosity without any expectations.
the art is good.the colors the animations and the characters and world designs are above average.one more thing!at last an anime that the characters dont wear the same clothes all the time!!!
the same goes for sound.the songs are very nice and the score of the series will remind you of oldscholl rave(happyhardcore)..plus some really awesome ambient songs with ethnic style female vocalists(that reminded me kalafina) that will make you wanna get the soundtrack immediately!the voice acting fits perfectly with the characters.generally i think that they really did put a lot of work in sound and music production for this series.
now the characters...hmmm...i wont deny that they are awesome plus their backgrounds,at least for those that we get to see in the series.but from an experienced storytellers view i find them a little bit lacking.kurogane and fay are good, really good.but sakurachan and sayoran are somehow too oversimplified?not developed enough?i just expected more considaring that they are the protagonists and the main focus of the story.i even found lots of the secondary characters a lot more interesting than sakura and sayoran and got myself thinking if those two really have any reason to be in the story.i guess you cant have a story without the princess but sayoran is weird.many people will object but thats because they read the manga.as far as the anime is concerned it fails!you cant have your secondary characters be more interesting than your 2 protagonists that are supposed to have a romance!maybe thats why the romance fails.
you will however see many famous characters from other CLAMP creations.
enjoyment?yeah...i had some good laughs and there were some good emotional moments.some good battles too.but due to the lack of any ending/conclusion it just leaves you hanging.especially considaring that if you follow the OVAs after the series you might get confused and bored.in the end,all things considared, i thought that this was an abomination, just my personal opinion.
overall...i dont understand why they went through the trouble of making this series.yeah i understand that probably there might have been some badjet problems and that may be the reason why the story never leads to a conclusion or ending but still...the lack of powerfull personalities for the main male and female roles and the romance that never really gets where its supposed to go...its just not good enough to classify it as a good anime.its just mediocre.
i have high expectations ,especially from the story,so this anime fails for me.many people will dissagree but remember that the majority of those are the people who read the manga and i think that its kind of unfair to give an anime good reviews just because you liked the manga.
i followed all the animations that came with this story and in the end i thought that it was a waste of time.the only good thing for me in this anime is the sound/music,mokona and the appearence and role of Yuuko from xxxholic.

ok lets review this...kyoukai senjou no horizon
the basic story background from the novels as i found it on wikipedia: "In the far future, humans abandon a devastated Earth and traveled to outer space. However, due to unknown phenomenon that prevents them from traveling into space, humanity returns to Earth only to find it inhospitable except for Japan. To accommodate the entire human population, pocket dimensions are created around Japan to house in the populace. In order to find a way to return to outer space, the humans began reenacting human history according to the Holy Book Testament. But in the year 1413 of the Testament
...
Era, the nations of the pocket dimensions invade and conquer Japan, dividing the territory into feudal fiefdoms and forcing the original inhabitants of Japan to leave. It is now the year 1648 of the Testament Era, the refugees of Japan now live in the city ship Musashi, where it constantly travels around Japan while being watched by the Testament Union, the authority that runs the re-enactment of history. However, rumors of an apocalypse and war begins to spread when the Testament stops revealing what happens next after 1648. Taking advantage of this situation, Tori Aoi, head of Musashi Ariadust Academy's Supreme Federation and President of the student council, leads his fellow classmates to use this opportunity to regain their homeland."
it appears the anime chooses to focus the story between aoi and horizon(his childhood friend and love) going against the world. The concept, not just the story but also the whole world,is very original.from the first moment you'll notice that they have very advanced technology but it comes in a weird format that looks like super powers and contracts with the divine or religion. At first i was really confused but after i watched it a second time it really fitted in.Now the first episodes can be very confusing especialy if youre not familiar with the novels.I really had no idea of the background even after watching it 2 times and i had to read the background in wikipedia. That said it really annoyed me but once you figure everything out everything comes into place and makes sense.Yes the anime on its own fails to establish its concept of the general story but at the same time while focusing on the couple aoi-horizon it keeps you interested cause it explains a lot through the first episodes, something that can be tiring to people that are not very good with fast pace anime and subtitles. But i think that even though it has its flaws its an anime that will win your attention if you dont quit from the first episodes.
Now this anime has lots of action!fast paced combat may it be mecha, melee or whatever. There are many battle scenes that you'll wanna watch again and again just cause theyre so awesome! So no more comments on that!awesome combat 10 out of 10!
Art...the animation is very good as expected from a modern action anime.the cg are great and the designs of the characters and everything else are very good.Great colours, great fps, very good editing and direction! You really understand the effort that they put in this anime.it has quantity and quality. At first you'll feel a little weird cause most of the female population in this anime has innormous boobs!!!O_O!!!oh yeah they are huge.but you'll get used to them cause they are not ment to be erotic as more to make the girls look extremely cute even though the character faces and eyes are more than enough to get hooked with them :P
Sound!im pleasently suprised by this anime!great OST great sound effects and good voice acting that fits the characters.Just focus on the music score and you'll realise that they really did an outstanding job!and it fits so well with the action and the emotions.
now the characters.Well dont expect indepth soulsearching.its an action anime.never the less the primary and secondary characters are introduced well enough, along with their backgrounds. There are however some characters that dont really have a place in the story(of the anime cause try to remember the story comes from a novel and there are too many characters involved for 13 episodes) but they wont annoy you much cause they are neccesary to support the mains in their battles. The main male aoi might suprise you cause we are not used to crazy happy guys as mains. As for horizon the "not so obvious from the begining" female proganist is not so well presented,i mean you'll get to like all the other girls from the begining and suddenly horizon appears. But i guess she has the standard "grey hair girl" appeal that few viewers are able to resist.overall the characters fit with their enviroments and the story and each one has his/her own style.
enjoyment!its definately an anime you'll enjoy.its fast paced and actionpacked!great visuals and great sound!lots of unique characters!it will definately keep you interested through the first "difficult to digest" episodes and you'll totally enjoy whats to come until the end.Just search youtube and see how many different vids there are about the songs and the battles!
one more thing.it has that very enjoyable tactics and intelligence you see in many masterpieces.its not the main focus but if you enjoy a blend of mild combat strategy, religion interfearance and politic games you'll find that this anime has its moments.its not code geass but it fits the whole conspiracy and strategy in the story and action pretty well.then again i say that its not the main focus, its just a piece of the whole.
overall...its an anime that you'll enjoy very much the first time you watch it and the you'll want to watch it a second time. The second time you watch it you'll enjoy it even more!the last episode kind of leaves you hanging but remember that theres season 2 coming in summer 2012.so i expect to see more aspects of the characters, the story, the action and get more involved in the whole concept world of kyoukai senjou no horizon!and ofcourse get to know horizon better!
many people are negative towards this anime.well it has flaws but its very good at what it does.if you enjoy other similar anime then this will earn a place in your heart.

kiss dum:engage planet.
just from the tittle you can get an idea that they didnt put much thought into this anime.
The basic concept is simple.A long time ago earth was populated by some good aliens that faught a war with some bad aliens.they all dissappeared and the only thing left behind was a warning and some ancient uber weapons that can only be used by one individual. So you get the basic setup where the main character will aquire the power to kill the bad guys and save the good guys. Not the best background but we've seen it work for many anime.
the story begins with the outbreak
...
of the alien infestation.highly adaptable aliens with no particular advantages or dissanvatages that can take any huge form you can imagine and kill stuff, and lets not forget of the basic alien wasp like bugs. There is where the problems start conserning the whole world setup and concept.
These things are unbeatable and they spread all over the earth in a matter of months. Its suprising that the humans never used nukes in the initial invasion something that always happens in these stories. All armies get devastated. And the hero is the only one who can kill these things thanks to his super powers.the aliens dont quite like sunshine but it appears that they forget their weakness as the series progresses.yeah...they just forget about it no questions asked.ok whatever not everything gets explained in anime.
Basicly the aliens overkill everyone exept the hero. And the hero whenever hes in the mood he overkills the aliens. No reason no common sense. It is extremely confusing cause the backstory and concept of the whole world is very poor and its not defined in such a way that the person who watches this anime can understand what was happening in the writers head when he wrote the story.basicly the battles are just meaningless overkills where a huge 100m tall alien beast will smash a little guy with a rifle...at least for the first 9 episodes.i really dont get why the aliens bother with humans cause its not like there is any human tech or weapon that can hurt them.
Its one of those stories that a person with great imagination wrote but due to his lack of experience and story telling he forgot that the people who are going to watch this are not himself. You see that happening many times in many amateur stories. The writer has a very good understanding of the concept but he fails to communicate it to the viewers.Although i think that the possibility here is 1)either the writer was himself confused and was unable to figure out the basics or 2)it was written by different individuals who didnt share the same image over the story and ended up as this catastrofic epic fail of an anime.
So as far as for the story ... it sucks big time.too many wholes.so many gaps to fill in with meaningless side stories, while trying to make up for the fail of the first episodes plus the painfull effort to establish the characters ,that always fails.
the art section is not as good as expected.from wallpapers and character and mecha designs you ll think that this is gonna be a visual orgasm, but the anime totally fails in that.ive seen a lot older anime with better direction, better coloring, better animation. Its just good enough to justify that its an anime but not good enough to make you wanna watch it.The editing is horrible.the only good thing this anime has is the mecha aircraft(lol there are just 2 of them, along with the cockpit mobile armor).thats all.they look nice.but they are not enough.
sound...well it has a few nice songs and tunes.the sound effects are mediocre and are usually lost behind the characters screams and wasted efforts to make you feel the action.
now about the characters.the first episodes are really painfull to watch as you get to meet lots of secondary characters who die just like that.you'll see some of them revived later in the series only so they can get killed again.you get to see some interesting girls but they also die sometimes within 1 episode. As for guys you get the usuall psykos with their confused agendas that die out really fast...that said this animes main focus is the uber super ultra hero and his abilities while everything else fades in the background.if only the hero and his abilities were good enough to keep your interest.Overall it painfully fails to establish the characters ...even the main characters role and personality.i dont know, really, maybe my standards are too high...but it really sucked.the only interesting characters are the heros guides.some kind of deities that are the source of his powers?or some kind of AIs that help him with his battles...whatever,they are the only ones that where fun.And a tsudere girl with a big ap cannon-rifle-whatever that never does any real damage to enemies lol.
there is absolutely no enjoyment.im usually really patient with anime that are confusing and fast paced from the start cause they usually end up being masterpieces but this one is terrible.it was so painfull to watch that i actually dropped the series after episode 9.Its the first time i was forced to dump an anime just like that.As a person who grew up watching anime this anime looks to me as a pile of turd.It might be interesting to someone who just entered the world of anime but it wont appeal to people who were lucky enough to watch a few other great anime.
overall...it really is a shame that so much money and effort were thrown in this anime. They should have invested the production money to charity.thats how much of a fail this anime is.i really dont care what happens after episode 10.it wont be able to make up for the devastating failure of the first 9 episodes.if an anime isnt able to establish its story and main characters until episode 4 (thats one month) then its a total failure to me.Not only that but it fails to help you enter its world.i found my self in the uncomfortable position of googling in the net to find explanations for the concept of this anime.i really tried to understand it but i realised that there was nothing to understand.everything is about an uber hero killing alien mutand things but the hero and his abilities and weapons arent that good. The only thing that looked interesting are the motives of a human woman who seems to be involved with the aliens and was the former commander of the hero.but ... i dont wanna suffer through the series to find that out.
this anime is a fail.dont buy it.dont rent it.avoid loosing your precious everyday free time to watch it.YES THIS IS A HATE REVIEW.i want back the 3 hours i lost from my life watching the first 9 episodes!lol.

now this is an anime that will suprise you!
in its description it says its a harem, romance, drama, seinen so you'll expect another ordinary fun story.
well youre in for a suprise!its not your ordinary stupid harem where nobody gets hurt and everybodys happy(i love harem anime by the way,but they re never realistic...well anime in general, but not this one).remember the "seinen"?this is a realistic story.with "real" characters who have "real" and realistic feelings!and with realistic cosenquences to each characters actions.
the story is amazing!im trying so hard not to let any spoilers come out.you get a realistic situation and see how the characters deal with it.It kinda shows you
...
a more realistic perspective on how a harem might end up.it shows real human weakness and the inability of people to agknoledge their responsibilities.when an episode ends you simply cant wait to watch the next one.and the good thing is that the tension builts up slowly so you really dont figure out that youre emotionally engaged in this story until youre half way through it.in other words the writers really did an outstounding job!
art and sound are what you can expect from a modern anime.nothing really special.just nice.its not what will hook you up with it anyway.but its still good enough.even though this is the last thing you'll be concerned when watching this anime.
character development is amazing.it really suprised me.i didnt expect it to be so good.it starts with mild notions of what it is to follow.but you dont really feel it until the middle of the series but then you get suprised of how REAL it becomes and you get emotianally attached to them.you'll feel the need to support some of them.you'll hate or dispise some of them.you'll empathise with some of them.but the entire cast will capture your feelings may they be negative or positive.
overall this is an anime that even though at first looked like an ordinary harems "school days" it turned out to be a serious drama about peoples feelings and weakness.its amazing how the writers manage to pull you into this story.dont underestimate this anime.i considare it a masterpiece.it decieved me at first with the innocent harem pretension and it suprised me with its realism.
if you like anime and stories that suprise you then this is a MUST WATCH for you.
i strongly reccomend to be prepared to watch this anime non stop to the end.watch it on a lazy sunday.cause trust me you wont be able to stop once you start.its a good thing its only 12 episodes.so program your scheduale.its gonna take you around 5 hours to watch so make some time for it.i think that it would be more fitting for this anime to be a movie.but on the other hand a movie just doest give you enough time for the characters to develop and show thier true nature.
enjoy!

when i ended watching nichijou i saw this one as a recommendation...so i started watching...
story...there is no story...its all about the survival of some boys daily teen life...lolz...the writers keeps the story simple.the more simple the more funny...especially the girls edition at the end of almost each episode!
art and sound as to be expecteded from a modern anime.very good.
characters...lolz..now here is the fun part.these guys and those girls are some standard types you'll meet in animes but the boys are somewhat normal.as i said the more simple the more funny!there is some development though.as the series goes on you'll get to see more aspects of
...
their personal lifes and how they "survive"...especially when it comes to their encounters with the female species.
enjoyment!well its one of my personal favourites.i mean what do you expect?its a comedy anime.enjoyment is guarranteed!just be careful not to break anything when you rofl.there is that little "literature girl" story that i watch all parts again and again!its really awesome of how this anime makes fun of some stereotypes.
overall.this is a great anime to watch with a bunch of friends in front of a big tv in your living room!perfect to brighten up your day after work or school.i think both guys and girls can have tons of laughs with this anime.so...have fun watching!

guilty crown
as far as sound and graphics its as expected from a modern anime.nice colors nice cg and pretty nice animation with good effects and a good music score.
but thats all there is to it and its not enough considaring that most animes today are above mediocre in sound and visual work.
the characters development is at least lacking the basics and there are many secondary characters who give the feeling that are completely fake.no real agentas no real feelings and some of them have nothing to do with the plot.it feels like the writer didnt have enough ideas of how to fill the senario so
...
he/she made up some random people so that the protagonists wont be alone.
the concept is pretty good.i must say is somewhat original.but they arent taking advantage of its uniqueness.im completely dissapointed from that.another anime with great, even amazing concept but lame story.most of the time due to some useless scenes and characters you'll lose the point in all of it and get confused.i seems that the writers who worked on this anime are unskilled teenagers with no actual experience on story telling.it just leaves you with a bad taste...
So far the only reason thats keeping me from dropping it is only my curiosity.
a friend suggested this anime to me.when i asked him "why should i watch it" he said that the female protagonist is "kawai" and "moe"...i think that says it all.
If you have time to kill watch it with no expectations.if not then simply ignore it.
All i can say is that im dissapointed.very dissapointed.this anime had the potential to be a lot better but they messed up.it feels like they didnt take the time to write a good plot and just went ahead straight to production just to make the sales and get money...
maybe you should watch it to see with your own eyes how they butchered a great concept world by writting a poor amateur story.
the one good thing in this anime is the action...that only lasts for a dosen seconds everytime.but not good enough to suffer through the rest of the useless scenes.
P.S. whats with the incest and the overexagerated violence?whats the point in all this?the amateur writers immaturity is evident through the whole story...trying to show strong images to cause feelings to the oddience just to get their interest in the story pumped up ,cause there is no other reason to watch it.
edit:after i finished the series i had mixed emotions.in the end you start to understand a few things better but still it fails at everything its trying to do.
