Never have I been so confused after watching an anime.
Manga? why is it called manga? Manga is a japanese style of books simply put and this is not close to that. It doesn't make sense, like this entire "film"
Yes, this is somehow considered a movie even though it is only 7 minutes long.
Anyways, lets get into this review.
Story: 1
there wasn't really any, its just a bunch of skits. skits made by somebody who was probably really high on drugs.
...
Art:2
well in 1977 maybe this was ok, but now its really bad. I've seen some Anime from the time period with better animations.
Sound: 1
terrible.
Character: 1
what character? there isn't any.
Enjoyment: 3
I had a few laughs, here and there at the random occurrences of this film, it was short so it was easy to get trough. I would have enjoyed it more if I was on whatever drug the creator was on.
Overall: 2
Watch it just for the laughs.
Thanks for reading.

Before reading, please beware of very minor and subtle spoilers.
After I saw Sword Art Online II crash the crunchyroll servers I knew I should at least check it out. So I started from the beginning.
Without further ado, let's jump into the review. LINK START!
Story: 9
The idea of being stuck in a VRMMORPG is like a dream to me. To see it come alive in an anime was very awesome! However, I have heard that there is anime with the same concept kind of, which... doesn't surprise me. I think it any gamers dream to live live inside a video game. However, the story did
...
feel a bit rushed.
The fact that there was 100 bosses yet only a few were showed kind of bothered me. It makes me wonder how the other bosses looked, and acted. However when a boss was shown along with the boss fight it was highly entertaining to watch. When I think about it, if all the bosses were shown this would probably one of those eternal animes that never seem to end. So I believe it was a good thing they decided to tell the story this way.
Of course, this anime isn't just about the action, there is drama too. For the most part Romance. Every single girl Kirito meets in this anime develops a crush for him. Which could be expected as he is not a bad guy at all, but having every girl tripping over the main character seems a bit cliché.
Art: 10
The art really was outstanding. Every character, guild, ocean, forest, boss, dungeon, Etc. They all had a unique feel. This was a very colorful anime, which made it so much more enjoyable. The movement of the characters were outstanding as well.
Sound: 10
I never really had a problem with the sound of this anime. I enjoyed all the voices of the original japanese version, so I can't speak for the english dub. The soundtrack was a really good choice, Every Time I heard it I would get pumped up. I actually liked both soundtracks for the first half and second half. Definitely songs that will end up on my ipod.
Character: 8
Here is where the Anime falls flat. Alot of characters were introduced and they seemed like awesome people, but they hardly appeared within the series. For example Klein. I wish I could have seen way more of him, but we didn't. In fact we saw him so little I didn't know if Kirito should trust him, because I was so afraid he would betray him. That is only because of the fact that the viewer didn't get time to familiarize themselves with the characters. The only characters that developed a lot were of course, Kirito, but also every single female that developed a crush on him.
Enjoyment: 10
Sword Art Online was an anime that was just so enjoyable to me. I loved it so much, I finished it within 2 days, because I couldn't get enough of it. I think that is enough reason to give this category a perfect score.
Overall: 10
Sword Art Online is a good anime, no doubt about it. It deserves a perfect score. Of course every anime has some flaws, but, with SAO it was easy to forgive. I recommend you atleast give this anime a try. You most likely wont regret it!
Feedback is appreciated and welcome! I am looking to make the best reviews possible!

Ah, infamous anime, my favorite. I recently had the pleasure to experience Pupa. Scratch that, because it wasn't a pleasure at all, it was a nightmare.
When i first heard of this anime i thought it wouldn't be so bad, since the horror genre in anime is usually quite the enjoyment. I was wrong on so many levels.
Story: 1
Very little development. It was hard to follow. Useless dialogue. I mean who need dialogue anyways? We can just have an episode of pure "onii-chan... onii-chan.." I mean the episodes aren't too long. 4 minutes in fact. Minus of course the time of the OP and ED totaling
...
in 3 minute episodes. Yes the creators still had the nerve to include the OP and ED in every single episode! I still have no clue what the story was about. The only episode I enjoyed story wise was the last episode. In fact if the series was like the last episode I wouldn't mind at all
Art: 2
I actually liked the art, although it could have been way better. Imagine very little movement, and sometimes the voices being out of sync with the lips of the characters. At Least we got some nice animated violence right? let me touch up on that. THE CENSORSHIP WAS HORRIBLE. It was weird how they would censor out some things like a guy pulling out a knife but then they would show some guy getting his eyes plucked out. I'm not sure why even censor anything at all.
Sound 3:
There wasn't much sound, thats why there is such a low rating. It would be a 1 if it wasn't for the music. Not much to talk about.
Character: 1
No development. Characters were all pretty typical, and the ones that seemed interesting had very little on screen time. It was a cliche older brother who loves his sister and little sister who depends on her older brother. It got old, quick.
Enjoyment: 1
There was no time to enjoy, like i said before. The episodes were so short, and confusing, it was hard to digest. It was supposed to be scary but i found myself laughing at times wondering "what in the world am i even watching."
Overall: 1
Maybe I am missing something big. Some sort of physiological message is supposed to be embedded in my mind now or something. Maybe I am too young to understand something like this. Perhaps one day in my dying bed I will remember "Pupa" and figure out that "Pupa" infact told me the meaning of life, and i just now understood it. We will see, I'll keep you guys updated if i figure out something. I don't know. This is all personal opinion, It was a waste of time. But the hour of viewing time went by so fast, I didn't even feel time move.
If you have a spare hour and want to experience the wonders of Pupa, by all means go ahead.
Will I ever want to experience Pupa again? Probably not.
Any feedback is much appreciated on this review. I am a total noob at reviews, I am seeking to become much better.

*very minor spoilers*
Wow, I can't believe this Anime is done.. I started watching this anime when it was in its 4th episode,
I found that i would catch up with the series on the same night.
At first I have to say, I was confused as of why I was so intrigued by this show. As the show went on and on, I realized it was of how cute it was. Yuki Hase and Kaori Fujimiya have such a chemistry that one can only wish for. It is as if the creators wanted to make these two as cute as possible. And unlike most Anime Cliches Yuki
...
was actually aware of all of Kaori's feelings, and wasn't a pervert not even in the smallest sense. For example, when they went to the beach, most anime guys would be totally stoked to see the girl in a bikini. Yuki was just happy to be there with Kaori. The relationship between these two has to be one of the best relationships in history.
It is the little things too that make this anime enjoyable. The beautiful scenery, the innocence of the two main characters, 18 grams of sugar, Shogo and Saki's relationship, how Kaori's memory starts to get better, the way the Ending song slowly fades in. In the end these all added up to make a masterpiece, and i never once felt bored watching this anime, in a world where I have trouble sitting through an episode, this anime was an exception. I would close facebook, twitter, shut off my phone, and lock myself in my room to avoid distractions. Everytime the credits rolled I would get sad that it was over so quickly and often times rewatch the episode.
I would finally love to recommend this show to everyone. Now that all 12 episodes are out, i'm sure many will stumble across this anime and watch it all in one sitting. I will now start another run trough, of the many more to come. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope you enjoy this anime as much as i did.
I'd like us to be friends!
