In my personal opinion, the book is trash. In general, you should avoid books glorifying odd fetishes presented in Ibitsu. It literally serves no purpose to have it in the novel. I agree with many people on here who have stated that the book has many plot holes, and the side stories make no sense. If you want an actually good book that includes horror/odd imagery, read anything from Junji Ito's collection of books, or if you're looking for an ACTUAL good horror book that takes place in a school I recommend Seeds of Anxiety.
