One of the most beautiful animes, which I've ever seen. The story takes place after the series, when the boys prepare to their Interhigh competition. So, it's not a spinoff and not a recap movie. We can see scenes of the everyday life of the characters and I liked it, because I find the characters interesting, so I watched those scenes with interest as well.
There are more emotional scenes, the boys are more emotional in the movie than in the anime, but I sensed their feeling. They were before a crucial decision and it was important for them to feel that there are others with
...
them. Some funny moments made the movie more colorful.
The movie made me bigger fan of the series and Yuki Hayashi's awesome work on the music makes the movie even better.

In 2006, when I became anime fan, the hungarian trends were Kaleido Star, Iuyasha, Slayers, Cowboy Bebop, Full Metal Panic! and some more. Every of them are great animes, they made me big fans of anime. But naturally the latest japanese animations were also available, despite the internet was much weaker back then. And in AnimeCons many anime fans talked about Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, how awesome anime is that.
Back then, I didn't pay much attention to it, and later I also avoided the anime, because Hirano Aya is the most hateful japanese seiyuu for me. I really hate her voice, even when she sang,
...
and I always felt bad feelings, when I looked at her album or single covers. Even if I'm repulsive, I was delighted, when Hirano Aya's scandals were revealed. After it, she was employed much less, and I fel,t she won't disturb the anime industry anymore. But I watched the Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, and it was one of the worst animes, which I have ever seen.
The most important part of the anime for me is the character. If the characters' attitude is bad or can't "play" the story properly, it's like red card for me, vainly the story is good. Suzumiya Haruhi is the most arrogant and disgusting anime character, whom I've ever seen. She hates the humanity, and she wishes like espers, aliens, and such strange creatures would exist in the world. Ok, let's consider this as big problem for her and this is her "Yuuutsu", but why I find the anime really appalling is she thinks her attitude is correct, and her thinking should be general for everyone. And the complete anime is based on her thinking and her "own world". She creates her own club, named SOS Brigade, which is about supernatural happenings.
Suzumiya Haruhi is not only arrogant person, but she forces every other club members to do, whatever she wants. She never give chance to others to refuse, or even tell their opinion, because she LITERALLY thinks, everything, what she do, that's perfect. It makes her ridiculous, especially, when she has the plan to create a short movie. She's really serious in that video will be awesome, and the whole world will like it.
The interesting of the anime is, Suzumiya Haruhi doesn't know that she created the club with aliens, espers... But they are also dreadful to me. Despite of Asahina Mikuru is time traveller, she's a pure fan service. She's always like a batboy, who would do anything for Suzumiya Haruhi. She's like, she doesn't have own will. Sometimes she acts, like "oh, I don't want it, please, no!" But yet she does, even if she's harrassed. This is why she's pleasant for the male viewers, because she's like a hentai character. The artificial human: Nagato Yuki might be interesting character, and I thought, she might be something special, because she mostly do nothing, but read books. So, she's mysterious, but her true character or intentions will be revealed later. She really has her own secret, but she neighter saves the anime, because her personality and past doesn't give much special to the story. Suzumiya's classmate Kyon is a "regular" human. He looks like she tries to understand Suzumiya, and seems like, he would be even friend of her, but even if he finds sometimes Suzumiya's thoughts awful, mostly he doesn't say anything, just do what Suzumiya Haruhi wishes. The only cool guy is Koizumi Itsuki, who is actually an esper. In his opinion, anything, which Suzumiya Haruhi do, that's funny, and he's in every jokes. He's the only one, whom I can like.
I know, this kind of "human-aversion" makes this anime popular. Many anime fans feel like, the are too unique for this world, and they feel like, they are exiled. I know that feeling, I also felt like exiled of this world, because of my unique personality. But I always did my best to find that balance in this life, to deal with people, but to keep my own personality. It's really hard, and I prefer those animes, which show an example how to find my own way in this world. Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu is the total opposite of it: It shows, it's totally normal to apply our ideas, no matter how harmful to others, even ridiculous. Because of it, I will never accept the popularity of this anime!

I really... Really hate those animes, such Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu and No Game No Life gained such popularity between the anime fans. Arrogant protagonists in animes are yellow card for me (if I like football, despite of I'm not expert of it), but when they blame the humanity and they think, they are above of every other people, that's red card, and those animes don't deserve even mediocre points at me.
Well, No Game, No Life is like this. Sora is a super intelligent guy, who doesn't find his own place in real life, so he becomes a hikikomori (or "officially" NEET) and closes himself
...
out of the world, and just play videogames all day and all night with his younger stepsister, Shiro. She's the only one, whom he loves (if you ask me, he loves her too much...). One day the Step-siblings get into a game, which have rules. With these rules, they need to defeat Tet, the god of games. They meet with many characters, and what I can say, Sora and Shiro together are really genius and foxy, and they always find out the trick of the opponent players. Their logic is brilliant.
But logic and intelligence is not everything. This might be really great anime (because of the complex gameplay), but arrogancy is unforgivable sin at me. I understand, why such animes, like No Game No Life are very popular: Sora and Shiro might refer to those anime fans, who can't find their place in real life. Because they count unique between "normal" people (We should talk about who counts normal...) and they think they are exiled from real life. Well, I feel it, I also felt like exiled, because people generally hardly accept me. But virtual life is not real life. And I appreciate those stories much more, which shows, how can an "exiled" human find their way in real life. Because everybody has its place in life. And those animes, which give that feeling, it's good to reprobate people, place them in an "alternative" world, or virtual world, that unforgivable to me. I will never ever accept the popularity of this anime.
The music also rather awful to me. I don't like Suzuki Konomi's voice, because I never heard emotions in her voice. Her singing ability is relatively ok, but every time, when I hear her singing, I feel like, she's a cosseted girl, who has been raised in shell (as we express the protected children in hungarian), but doesn't know much about the real life. Singing ability and beauty is one thing, but the lack of emotions underrates singing career to me.
Well, this is a hateful and disgusting anime. I don't care of the protagonists are smart and foxy, if they are arrogant as well, and if the anime shows it's ok if you want to hide in the virtual life, that's unforgivable at me.

I can't believe, that Production I.G, which animated such masterpieces, like Haikyuu!!, Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru, created a totally mediorce anime in the ancient time with full of fan services.
Akihiro is a big otaku, who doesn't have much success with girls. They only live in his fantasy. One day he gets a magic carpet, where a beautiful girl comes out from. She has magic abilities, and uses it imprudently, and cause problems to Akihiro. So, the girl is pretty, but clumsy. The girl, Maron falls in love with Akihiro, and wants him to take to her world and live together with him. He goes, but
...
Akihiro doesn't have time to admire Maron's world, because another girl, Roll appeared, who always wants to kill Maron. Who's this girl, and what she want from Maron?
Who knows. The complete OVA is about 30 mintues long, and as you can read, the story is really poor. But what really nice in this OVA, is the art and animation. It seems, the Production I.G always did the best in animation. It's very nice compared to other animes from the beginning of the 90s.
I would highlight Furumoto Shinnosuke, who was the seiyuu of Akihiro. I think, he's the most underrated seiyuu, I really like his voice. He has similar voice, like Yamaguchi Kappei, but unfortunately he was casted in very few animes. I think, he deserved much more.
The music is also quite good. The theme song is performed by Okui Masami, who's like muse for me in japanese music. This is her debut song, and I think, it's ideal as debut song, it forecasted a very good singing career, as Okui Masami had during the years. On the theme song single a radio dorama of the anime is also available.
Well, the anime is not like a miracle, but if you feel like, you want to watch an anime with fan services just for fun, then, it's ideal for it.

I think it's good to watch a kodomo, shounen anime even in adulthood, because of two reasons:
1. A good shounen anime would remind the adult fan their teenager motivations, and even is they are disappointed in life, they might rethink, what can they do in their life to make the most of it.
2. Watching children's animations might bring us back to our childhood. Every time, when I watch an animation for children, I always imagine, if I could watch it as child, or not? Would I offer it to my child, (if I would have) or not?
Well, Shutsugeki! Machine Robo Rescue is not the very
...
best children's anime, but worth to give a try to it.
12 children are chosen to the Machine Robo Rescue program. In this program robots and the 12 children work together to save the people from the dangers and disaster. Oozora Taiyou (what an expressive name...) is late from the first training, when he goes for a rescue work with his JETROBO. Every 12 children are approved, and they are separated in 3 groups: Red Wings, Blue Sirens and Yellow Gears, and rescue the people from danger. The story isn't big, there are smaller stories in every episodes. Some episodes were made interesting with the children's background story, but those are only for curiosity, they don't give anything to the main story.
The big mistake of the anime is the antagonist itself. I don't know, why is he revealed in about the 40th episode, otherwise, he's really ridiculous. I think, even children can't take him seriously. He just disappeares before the end of the anime. But why if he there? He hasn't any function in the anime.
What I really liked in the anime, is the music. I'm a big JAM Project fan, so, I don't need to explain, why I like it. The opening is cute, Kitadani Hiroshi took his lovable childish self into the song, and it makes the opening good to listen. But the ending... is like masterpiece! That's an Endoh Masaaki solo, and as always, he takes seriously this song as well. The title is expressive, it's really like a march. I can imagine Endoh Masaaki as fire colonel, who leads the group with this great song. Anyway I think, Endoh Masaaki is the greatest japanese male singer, and this song confirmed this feeling inside me.
So yes... I started to watch this anime because of the JAM Project opening and ending song (I know them for years), but I offer to give a try to this anime. Simple, yet lovely and if you let your child self go, you might enjoy this anime.

People can be motivated in many ways to do their best, do what, they really like to do. As well, as many kinds of sports animes exist. But because the most sports animes are shounen (and released in Weekly Shounen Jump), and those were created for 10-14 year old boys, most of them are far from reality, and those animes close out the older anime fans, who prefer not only the reality but which are free from typical japanese samples.
So, to find a realistic sports anime is hard, but those few mean much. And I dare to write: Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru is the king
...
of the real sports animes.
The characters are not high school students, but university students, which also gives the base to this anime to be serious. Kurahara Kakeru was a runner in his high school years, but he finished it because of certain happenings. At the beginning of the anime, he steals a sandwich from a glocery store, and Kiyose Haiji saw him running. When he caught him up, Haiji made Kakeru to return the sandwich to the store, and apologize. After it, he asked Kakeru, that he likes running. Because he ran quite fast, Haiji wanted Kakeru to join to his running group to enter the Hakone Ekiden. Only 10-member group can enter to that running contest, and with Kakeru the group would have 10 members. Haiji made Kakeru to enter to the group, and they 10 together prepared and practiced much to give their best in the contest.
And this is main different: They give their best, and not to win at any cost. It also refers the character's age they think more serious, because they see the things of life as it is, and in this reality they do their best. Every of group members have different personality, and sometimes it's hard for them to work as a group or practice, because most of them have their own life, not running is their biggest hobby. Sometimes, they have enough of it, and ask what is this all for, but later they find each other, and practice even harder.
The animation is beautiful. If you liked the animation of Haikyuu!! or Ballroom he Youkoso, well, I'm pretty sure that, you will be fascinated of the animation of the Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru. The characters are well-drawn, the background and surrounding is detailed, the colors are realistic. And the music... I think, it's enough to say, Hayashi Yuuki's name, his name is guarantee for the quality original soundtrack, because he proved with Haikyuu!! and Boku no Hero Academia, that he's a great composer. He wrote funny, happy, even dance songs to this anime as well as sorrowful, depressing soundtracks. He felt the guys' adult-like personality. Sometimes they feel the pressure of the weight of life, despite they can laugh, feel themselves well, and do their best in running. Hayashi Yuuki sensed the harmony of this dual personality, and he wrote not only great music for this anime, but the songs harmonize to each other. I listen to the OST very much.
This is really one of the greatest sports anime. And if Haikyuu!! is the king of the high school sampled animes (in good way), then Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru is the king of the realistic animes. Highly recommended to very anime fans.

I really love this picture drama. Maybe because I'm a gamer as well, and I like the Haikyuu!! characters in RPG style. This is an extra, the whole 3 episodes are about 12 minutes, so don't think, that it adds anything to the original story. I think the implementig is amazing. Five Haikyuu!! characters: Hinata Shouyou, Kageyama Tobio, Iwaizumi Hajime, Takanobu Aone and Kozume Kenma are join forces to fight against the evil and tyrant king: Oiwaka Tooru. The DVD was originally bundled to the Limited Edition of the Nintendo 3DS game: Haikyuu!! Tsunage! Itadaki no Keshiki!! so the story also gives a kind of
...
game-feeling. The characters are like in a Fire Emblem or The Legend of Zelda game, the milieu is like in a NES game, the music is also 8-bit, so, it's like in an 80s game with the anime characters on the side of the screen. The music is like in the best NES games, which gives great feeling to the OVA. So, I like it very much, as a Haikyuu!! fan as a Nintendo gamer.

I didn't read much Shounen ai mangas, because they are mostly about to satisfy the fujoushis' and fudanshis' imaginations. But the Hidamari ga Kikoeru is totally different. The story is very lovely, I could identify with the protagonists.
I also had hearing impairment in my childhood (but it's been operated), so I know how does it feel living with worse hearing. It's really depressing, and you might feel that you are alone, because you hear the others badly. The manga showed it authentically, and it's great that Kouhei could find a friend in Taiichi, who helped not only as note taker, but he cheered him with
...
his happy-go-lucky personality.
As the story goes forward, they get even closer to each other. I read only 8 chapters, but I really like the story, and I don't think that I will regret this 10 points rating for this manga, because it's really the very best in its genre (Shounen Ai, Slice of Life). I will buy an original english copy of the manga series, and possibly a japanese copy as well.

I started to watch this anime, because I'm a big Hayashibara Megumi fan, and I decided that I will watch every animes, where her voice is audible, even the smallers ones.
The Muteki-Ou! Tri-Zenon belongs to these "smaller" animes, and to those, which are her greatest works.
The biggest mistake of this anime is the characters are too simple, I couldn't believe of them that they are heros, who are ready to save the world. Especially Kanna, who's a "cry-baby" girl, she always shouts in her fear when a battle starts, or she needs to attack. Hayashibara Megumi gave her voice to this girl, and this character
...
totally not suitable to her voice, even it was sometimes annoying.
Because the character's personality were too simple it made the complete story insignificant, I wasn't interested in what's happenning to them. There were some interesting and funny moments, but the battles were totally uninteresting.
It was interesting to watch this anime as a Hayashibara Megumi fan, otherwise I don't offer it, it's not hard to find a better one.
But the opening and the ending are great songs.
