FAVARO!
alright - now thats out of the way, Shingeki no Bahamut is one of the amazing animes of 2014.
I find it, really impressive to use such a stereotypical plot of God, Demon and Humans -
and yet manage to captivate and provide us with 12 episodes of great entertainment.
The anime started with showing how overpowered Bahamut is -
even with God, Demons and Humans working together to stop it was futile.
...
All they were able to do was seal Bahamut, which can be considered as a success if you may, but in reality was only delaying the inevitable.
Two thousand years of peace passed by, and we get to see our main characters Favaro, Kaiser and Amira (and Rita!) who will give us one hell of a ride from start to finish.
No slumps. No stalls.
Just full awesomeness all throughout.
Animation: 9
I've seen better BUT... it is still amazing.
I like the fact how something was ALWAYS moving.
If its not the characters then the background or props.
Characters: 10
Oh god - where to start, I just love how well made the characters are.
The main characters were really fun and entertaining especially Favaro.
but lets not forget, its all thanks to Kaiser that all of this was possible.
Amira, as the herione was intriguing especially how she's not the "moe-like" heroine - which is rather refreshing on top of the mysteries surrounding her.
and of course, Rita. The most helpful character in many ways.
Got to love her comments, just priceless.
While I didn't mention the other characters in detail, all i can say is -
I am amaze how every character had a significant role to play till they reached the final episode.
Music: 8
The Soundtracks especially the BGM are really nice and cool.
I have issues with the opening music.
While its suppose to "hype" everyone to the anime -
I just find the amount of "shouting/screaming" going overboard.
Its just my concern which you can just disregard - otherwise OST and ED music is a 10.
Conclusion: 9
While I really love and appreciate how entertaining Shingeki no Bahamut is -
especially since this is one of the few animes of 2014 I would recommend...
For me, its missing that "masterpiece factor" that would warrant it a 10.
