Here, is a story of an oddball group of would-be-hosts that certainly define "true" entertainment in a more cheery context.
Ouran High School Host Club is an anime that brings laughter, joy and bliss in so many yet crazy ways. Straightforward it may be, this anime shares life's deeper meaning in several serious instances yet it manages to smoothly shift the somber mood to an exaggeratedly hilarious scene.

Hotaru no Haka

add
Based on a novel by Nosaka Akiyuki in 1998, Grave of the Fireflies (Hotaru no Haka) is a 93-minute movie directed by Isao Takahata. It has a very simple plot, so simple that it doesn't need a complicated storyline. At first I thought it has a comming-of age lesson just like Spirited Away, but I was wrong! Café Kichijouji de
(Manga)
add
The manga focuses on complete hilarity without solid base where the plot might progress from. Each chapter's spotlight is the daily routine of characters with madcap twists. The manga-ka splendidly incorporates neat artwork that blend with the story. Character design is clear and nicely done. Girls would want to look at this one, since all of the guys are BISHOUNENS with added "chibi" at the end of each chapter which I find really funny.
As they say “Laughter is the best medicine”. Café Kichijoji surely is that manga for you; it successfully brings out merriment in every flip of the page. So go start laughing. |
