This anime is very much like the manga, if you have read the manga like I have then you know what to expect. It's very simple when it comes to the story, with the usual blue balls fan service, but it's still a very enjoyable anime series. A lot of people won't like this anime because they have not read the manga, or they just don't like boobs and borderline hentai Anime/Manga. The animation is amazing, actually it's very well done for this type of anime, however I wish it had longer episodes but 8 minutes is reasonable due to manga not having many chapters
...
as IT HAS NOT BEEN UPDATED IN A LONG TIME (SOMEONE GET YOUR LAZY ASS BACK INTO RELEASING THE NEXT CHAPTERS)
Now if you will excuse me as I continue to wait for the next chapter of Okusama ga Seitokaichou

Little Bit of Spoiler but not much to really spoil anything.
Shirobako is a dull anime with nothing special at what the other people have written in their reviews. I don't understand how people came up with its a beautiful anime, it's a masterpiece or a kiss to the anime production. The anime was very average and I believe it's a hit or miss anime and it was a miss for me. I will say that episode 1-12 was useless and watching from episode 13-24 is a much better choice. There is not much improvement still after episode 12.
The animation is smooth and beautiful, with great
...
music that was beautifully done. The Voice acting was amazing and was very fitting for each of the characters and their personalities.
For the characters it mainly focuses on Aoi with the occasional other 4 girls. It shows how Shizuka is struggling with finding a voice acting job, how Misa wanted a change of work and Ema finding her own style and the artist blocks she faced. However that was for only couple of episodes and what happened to Midori? It was like they were saying hey Midori is in college still so forget about her now as we still don't know what to do with her yet. Oh nevermind lets just bring her to the same company as Aoi and Ema but as a person who's importance is only for researching and for nothing else.
Majority of the episodes was about Aoi managing her job and the experiences she faced. The only characters who feel fully developed other than Aoi is Ema, Yano, Gothic Lolita-san (Ogasawara), Endou, Segawa and Andou. Hell even Kunogi feels like a fully developed character compared to the three other main characters, and she can't even finish one sentence at all. It was like hey first 12 episodes forget about all the 3 girls except Aoi and Ema, then to bringing the other 2 main girls in for just a small screen time with little to no importance at all. Oh and forget about Shizuka and the fact that she even existed; she is more non-existant than Akari (Yuru Yuri)
I feel for Shizuka cause I liked her the most from the 4 other main girls, however, it pissed me off that they just dropped her in the last two episodes just because they felt like it. They must have forgotten that there was a 5th character and were trying to remember who the hell the red haired girl was and her importance. They suddenly remembered her and was like oh shit she was supposed to be a voice actor ok lets just put her for this minor roll and just end the anime with that.
There were like only 4-5 good jokes, the comedy it tried to push was stale. The characters are what you expect, with the variety of personality where it just gets annoying. Everything is happy and nice, where no one pays for a mistake they made even if it was a major mistake. Everyone just apologized and the matter got settled, come on if this is about the job force in making anime, at least, make it realistic.
Then there are those random daydreams with the two dolls, which didn't fit at all. It was fist at first as they only appeared once in a while. But after episode 12 they appeared constantly giving tips and descriptions for the anime industry. They had more speech dialogue than the actual characters and note that they don't even exist. Also WTF is with the unrealistic driving in this anime, are they trying to show how important it the key files or other papers are, so lets drive fast, or that this is an anime so we have to show something cool and awesome. Another thing how the F**K did Yano learn to sail a boat?
If they were trying to make an anime about the jobs and hardship in the anime production, they need to take it seriously and not put the illusionary images like for example the last episode. It was like they never took this seriously. If there is anoter anime about making an anime or manga (unless it similar to Mangaka-San to Assistant-San) then I will not read or watch it. I didn't enjoy this anime at all, the reviews here are misleading and was not correct for me.

Koi no Senkyo to Chocolate This review may contain spoilers Anime score: 6
I don’t write any reviews whether the anime was bad or great, but this anime was so average and it could have been better that I wanted to tell everyone my thoughts. So how can I talk about this anime, well one thing is that the anime is exactly as what you would expect from a romance, drama school life anime. Obvious love with the two main characters obvious melodrama and all that other shit. This anime was so far so good from episode 1, it made me think that this anime wouldn’t
...
be so bad, but was I so wrong. From episode 6 to episode 8 this anime fell flat, not flat like falling to the floor flat on its face but Blanc’s washboard chest flat. It had many moments that should have just been skipped over, leaving a dry taste on your mouth as thanks to the, oh so fast way it went to end all the problems.
The story is very simple two childhood friends who have feelings for each other but some traumatic indecent is stopping them from realizing it. With a lot of side characters that are constantly around the main characters, but have had some episodes to explain more about their stories, but the producers decided that that was unessacary and just put stupid and unessacry episodes only developing them slightly. Many of the characters including the main and the side characters with not much of character development made me want to bitch slap most of them majority of the time.
This anime story was so simple and could have been done easily, but they had to include complex and dark sinister plots into it. This anime includes the Prison School: School problems in it with the common happy fun times atmosphere. A school, where scandals, shady people and bargains and the crazy committees in this school group up.
This anime tries too hard to make it seem like under all the happy daily school life is dark and dangerous activates are happening. Well this anime fails at it, in fact the anime does it so poorly that I no longer cared who was on the bad side or who was good all I cared about is Oojima is running for student council president. The opening was good as well as the ending. One of the reasons the anime fell flat was because it was trying to juggle with two main plots while it added another plot to it making it hard for them to balance it all out. One was Oojima running for student council president to save his club, and the relationship and tensions between Oojima and Chisato and the third was the fight between the student council committees. The anime was doing well until this third plot came in and became another main plot, then the anime started to fall apart. It couldn’t handle it so they had to end the first and third plot as soon as possible, which made the plot with their relationship also fall apart. In fact it made the anime very bland and uninteresting. So yea pretty much this anime falls flat on its face due to the unessaceary plots and development.

From chapter 1 I loved this series, however no matter how much I enjoyed this series the translators dropped this series. so all you have is chapters 1 - 20 and the rest except the final chapter which is 36 in raw. The story is amazing and great taking you into the minds of a masochist guy and a sadist girl; with pretty twisted story that occurs later on (from what I hear). I would love someone to translate chapters 21 to 59, cause this manga needs to be known.

I have read the manga and I liked the comedy in there, didn't pay much attention to the fan service as it was noticeable but not that noticeable. However in this Anime all I have to say is that the end, no even in the beginning you will have a FALCON BONER!!!!!! Forget about the FALCON BONER!!!!!! you will get an SUPER ULTIMATE ULTRA OVER 9000 FALCON BONER!!!!!! Take my word for it.
