Devilman: Crybaby

Similarities: - One season - full story - Men VS Monsters in a battle of total annihilation of one another - The monsters are religion-based - The ideology of both humans and monsters is understandable so it's hard to pick a side - Both shows include (main) characters that belong to both parties (niether completely human, nor a demon/vampire) - Villians that you can feel sorry for even though they have commited crimes - Both are kinda gory and philosophical - Tragic near the end IMHO, Shiki has better character exploration compared to Devilman, but Devilman's shorter and has a bit more exciting art style. If you specifically enjoyed the culmination-to-ending of any of the two shows, you will very likely be intrested in the other one.

Vanitas no Karte

- Produced by the same studio - The protagonist vibe is similar: the worrysome dorky muscle-man + weak ironic conman as the brain of the duo - Both are more about the action than the lore, we get thrown into the story and everything is magic in the ways we don't understand at all - In both cases, there's a mystery in the plot and the mystery of the characters/their past - The amount of ironic type of comedy in them is just ugh

Yuukoku no Moriarty

Victorian England - anime style! Exactly the same aesthetics, except Black Butler is fantasy and Moriarty's not! Both series are packed with handsome & slightly overpowered guys! The extravagant supporting ladies! William Moriarty is like an angelic version of Sebastian! Crimes and mysteries! and a bit of politics somehow!

Given

Both shows explore the life of a high school music band and the members' lives. K-on is more cheerful and moe-like, while Given explores a lot of deep topics, but in both cases characters turn to music for expression. Both shows go into details of music-making, but each in a different way, the art tones and the ambiance are also kind of similar.

Despite a completely different settings, both No. 6 and Given focus on the non-romantic plot and are lowkey shounen-ai. Romantic feelings are developing slowly but deeply between seemingly different people. The main characters are quite similar and so is the chemistry between them. Shion is just as calm and dreamy as Mafuyu, Nezumi seems irritable but caring like Ritsuka.
