Honestly it’s fine as a recap, but it’s really not a good idea to watch as your first introduction to the series. It’s not a fantastic watch and will spoil the story that’s presented a lot better in game.
The best thing about Danganronpa 1 is the setting and atmosphere but it’s almost impossible to capture that feeling of dread in 13 episodes. It’s made worse because the work it’s adapting is over 20 hours long with a lot of incredibly complicated plotlines and 15 major characters.

I think Code Geass is an excellent piece of storytelling. The fights and worldbuilding were great but it really shines with its characters and storytelling. Despite them being totally different genres I would compare it to Death Note in how they're presented and would definitely recommend this if you enjoy the "edge of your seat" type of writing Death Note brings.

It’s hard to give my overall feelings on Another because it goes up and down a lot. I have a lot of issues with the show: sometimes extremely important plot details are explained very poorly, the tone gets too bright at points compared to the start and I often found myself frustrated because characters withhold huge information for reasons that are questionable at best.
