Both anime, though set in completely different settings, have some very similar elements: -dense main character -love triangle -same love triangle dynamics (you'll see when you watch them) -main character aims to round up a motley crew -lots of internal conflicts -good dose of comedy -quite a bit of crying -stuff about family -paying tribute to Japanese culture, history and traditions -beautiful art -beautiful music -both are unfinished :'( -both are really awesome!!

Similarities: female MC starts off super lame but develops to become better/stronger, devoted knight-like male MC, gods, have elements of historical/rural Japan and traditional Japanese culture Differences: pretty different experiences (you may like one but the other you might not - depends on the viewer), RDG has more supernatural elements while AnY is has more traditional combat (weapons, fighting etc), AnY is a reverse harem while RDG isn't, AnY has more comedy than RDG

Both have an adorable main character who is driven by some sort of regret. Both have awesome art styles and music. Although, depending on the viewer, the romance element is quite different.

Both anime dabble in the ideas of duty and friendship. If you're looking for captivating characters, BSD and Kyoukai no Kanata both have them. They both have awesome action scenes. Both have supernatural elements. Both have awesome OPs and EDs.

Bungou Stray Dogs 2nd Season
add

Charlotte and Bungou Stray Dogs (BSD) 2nd Season are both about people with supernatural abilities trying to find justice. Although both have comic relief, they both weave in darker elements involving the main characters' backgrounds. Also the main characters of Charlotte share a bit of Dazai's OP-ness. However, Charlotte has quite a bit of romance, unlike BSD, but overall I put them both in high regard.

Kiznaiver
add

Before noting similarities, there's a huge difference: Kiznaiver is intense since it has mystery and dystopian elements, and Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda is really light hearted and closer to real, normal life. But if you like anime about a motley crew who come to share cute and heart-wrenching friendships and relationships, then these two both give groups of people who become close despite the odds.

Kimi no Na wa.

Although Kimi no Na wa has a key supernatural element to it, and Tamako Love Story doesn't, both share a similar puppy love and beautiful art styles. Both give you good vibes about love, friendship and just life in general.
