The rating is only this high because I did wholeheartedly enjoyed this series despite its massive flaws. It had so much potential, and I really think this could've been such a cute, funky manga if it wasn't obvious how it was already on the chopping block by like the fifth chapter. They really forgot the initial premise to rush into the romance and other important character arcs that was at least subtly hinted upon in the pilot chapter. I did stay delusional until the end, just hoping that it wouldn't meet its end but alas.

As stupid as every little plot revelation was, I could see where the author wanted to go. It could've been an excellent exploration of how teenagers deal with things like expectation, desire, and dreams in ways that make them way bigger than it needs to be. Gift stealing paint and refusing to tell his friend the truth for the sake of his own pride for only that to escalate into utter madness because of one girl and her stupid complex and relationship with stickers, makes senses in the grand scheme of things. It made everything felt dumb and stupid, but the internal turmoil made sense
