A very fun ongoing anime without a plot, rather each episode is another job for gin and co. The characters are memorable, each and every one of them, the anime is not for the serious audience, it's just FUN.

Being one of my favourite anime's, the review and rating might be subjective; but then again, a review is subjective. lol. Anyways, here it goes:
GOOD: .nice colourful atomsphere .cool plot, with masters and their servants .good amount of action .character development and their relationships are top .Saber, nuff said. .awesome soundtrack, especially the opening and ending. ...

Samurai Deeper Kyo has an unique and bizarre take on edo history, and the battles between samurai. The story has its twists, but when you think that the 'last boss' is defeated, more villians pop up. At first sight, the anime seemed like a fun hilarious anime with kyoushi junior, however when the "demon eyed kyo" takes over the anime starts in a much more serious tone, which prevails till the end.
