Never in my life have I read a story with so much wasted potential. This sorry excuse for a manga stars three young boys; the smart one, the athletic one, and the other one. The athletic one and the other one become horny but, as they are unremarkable teenage boys, they cannot find partners. The smart one flaunts his ability to get women but does not appreciate them, being more focused on games than sex. The other two boys decide to take their "revenge" on him because he is the only one that can attract women. They take advantage of his love of games to ... attempt to trick him into their own game. The game, which is what the story was about, is pointless. There was no point to any of this. There is no attractive love scene, no smartly written dialogue, and mediocre artwork. Most of the manga does not even have a background scene. There are so many ways that the mangaka could have written a clever, thought-provoking game with plenty of steamy scenes but instead, this feels more reminiscent of a game of monopoly that you quit halfway through because it is too boring. Being a one-shot does not excuse mediocre writing.

An amalgamation of one-shots consisting of teacher x student, family, and group mature activities. With each story only consisting of a few pages, there is no time for foreplay. You are just thrust into the action scenes. With the story a bit lacking, all that is left is the art, which can be trumped easily by other h-manga that also have better stories. The women's' body parts vary slightly, but none of them have enough erotic detail to be anything noteworthy. It can be summed up as... average.

This manga can at best be used for a quick nut, and if so I suggest jumping to ... chapter 7/8.

Funny Pets

While the characters in season 1 were shallow husks being exploited in simple formulaic episodes, season 2 gets to explore these characters' personalities in-depth and reaches into their souls on a truly deeper level.

In season 1 the characters were very basic; Crescent was jealous and angry, Corona was an overpampered crybaby, and Funny was just vain and selfish. In this season they are given motivation for the way that they act.

If you have not seen season 1, you can easily start at season 2. All backstory is explained in the visuals of the theme song that has been the same since ... season 1. Ryuuji Masuda, the genius behind Popee the Performer, manages to captivate the audience with an ongoing story where every episode can also stand by itself. You can start from any episode. If you are to only watch one, I suggest episode 5.

If you made it this far into this review, what are you doing? Just go watch an episode, its only 6 minutes. You can tell right away if it will be your sort of humor or not.

I have seen a lot of dementia anime shorts, and this one does not stand out as anything special. It is apparently about the cycle of a plant, which can be guessed because of the words that pop up three times on screen. If you want to make an in-depth analysis on what every scene represents I'm sure you could, but it would be a waste of time. Most of the story is just black and white geometric shapes just switching colors on the screen.

The geometric shapes do not really do much, so there is not much to say about the art unless you really ... like pointy things.

There was no sound. I was left with my bedroom window open only to hear my neighbors listening to 70s hits and partying, wondering why I was not doing something I enjoy instead of watching this nonsense for four minutes.

No characters either, just a plant and some lines.

I enjoyed the parts where the words were on screen so I could finally tell what I was watching.

Overall, this may be the kind of anime you have to watch several times to fully understand what it was about. I won't, but if you are reading this, go ahead and watch it several times to interpret it fully. I have better things to do.

Hello Kitty's Furry Tale Theater is Sanrio's take on many classic fairy tales. It is not really possible to do badly on the story because it is all other people's work. They were not too different from the classic fairy tales we know, just slight variations to the actual story here and there.

The art is very cutesy and everything revolves around Hello Kitty and her friends.

The sound is very good overall, but be warned: Tara Strong is doing the highest voice she can in the dub for Hello Kitty and it sounds like nails on a chalkboard. Just mute the computer when you see ... Hello Kitty come on screen.

The characters are all playing fairy tale characters, so they act like they do in the fairy tales.

This anime is very enjoyable for children. If you are looking for something a little more intellectually stimulating, try a different anime. This is a bunch of cute little kid fairy tales. It can be enjoyed by anyone who likes Hello Kitty at any age though.

Nijiiro Prism Girl is an anime about an elementary school girl who uses deceit to cheat her way through life. Although the anime is short, with only 4 episodes to the OVA and only 12 minutes an episode, you can tell a lot about the main character. She is not afraid to completely lie to the public about her age and use this lie to step over other child actors who wold have gotten their roles legitimately. As the audience, we are supposed to forgive her because her mother is dead.

Apparently she is a great actress though, because directors let her just completely ad-lib ... her scripts that they worked so hard on and say whatever she wants to. They probably did not even need scripts they could just throw her in and she would start crying and win an Oscar for no reason.

As for the art, it just looks like a generic anime except the eyes are too big to look at and it is easy to get the feelings of shock and horror if you look at them too long. It looks like the artist was going for a 90s look but it is a little too clean looking to pass.

If you completely ignore the feelings of the people that should have gotten the roles that Nijika did and just look at the show from her perspective, it isn't half bad. It is no where near tear-jerking, but it is not the stupid, gushy, romantic show I was expecting it to be. If you have around an hour of free time, you could give it a try if you really wanted. I certainly won't watch it again though.
