I think this series had a much better story, art style and character development than the main show. It contained more or less the best parts of each generation.
While I think there could have been more Johto and Unova episodes, overall this is an amazing series and I enjoyed it to the fullest. We discovered more about the main characters of each game as well as several events and minor characters.
A really good voice acting, if you're into English Dubs. I must say much better voice acting than the main series and a lot of familiar voices appeared from other anime.

Although the anime is pretty funny, I expected more from this show before watching it. But I only started watching it because I love Heavy Metal music and when I realised the show only made fun of the genre I dropped it.
Story behind it is quite good though, although they could have made use of it better. The show is a little bit too excessive for me. I feel like they could have made it more realistic. The art style is horrible. I don't think I have to tell you more about that. The music is awesome, although I don't approve of the lyrics in the ...

I really don't get why this show so low ratings. I mean sure, there are a hell of a lot more fillers than in the prequel, but these fillers are actually quite enjoyable and funny, unlike for example Bleach's filler episodes.
The story isn't very outstanding at all, like pretty much every Shounen anime that exists. Though it is probably the lack of story that makes me keep watching Fairy Tail.
