It has been long since I read the manga in full, but I'm going to review it anyway.
Maybe the story is cliche for some, but I really find it very amusing. I love it when two straight guys just... meet. Then one day, they just realize they're in love with each other. It's the satisfaction of "I wasn't gay but I like you, a guy".
I was very much satisfied with the art, though. Even if I'm not that satisfied with the amount of H-scenes, it does give justice to the main plot.
The characterization of Aizawa-san could be a little better though. Like, why was he
...
a shut-in in the first place.
Overall, I was trying to hide my manly squeals over the feels when I read this. The fluff is just irresistably good

I've read this for quite a long time already so I am quite not sure of the accuracy of my review.
While I have not saturated myself with omegaverse stories or even latest BL mangas thanks to being busy with real life, this was, back then, among the nice emotional roller coasters of an omegaverse manga. All the twists and turns people expect (the generic ones as we might call them) are there. However, Sachimo-sensei really did us a great service. Characters suffering from all those emotions, even as far as the surprise twist(s) before the second half... It got me exhilarated.
Omegaverse is truly about how
...
characters cope with "Anatomy is Destiny" stereotype. I do know almost all omegaverse stories no longer follow what is supposedly standard (hello @ knotting lololol). Still, Kashikomarimashita, Destiny provided us Sachimo-sensei's take on the omegaverse world, how a disowned omega made its way to its destiny, as well as how a loveless beta finds love.

I don't know but practically, it looks like I'm diverting from popular opinion once more (like how my entire life has been)
Basically, "I liked this show" is an understatement. I am so hooked with this show I pretty much have to wait in the wee hours of Wednesdays (SE Asian Time fyi) just to get to the latest episode.
Let me start with the thing I least liked: Art (6). It was fairly decent, can tell that the budget was pretty low. Nonetheless it didn't fail to at least animate what's basic.
Character (7). I know that such characters were already a stereotype: faint-hearted main character, a
...
supportive co-lead, the club president seeing more raw talent, a rival, a playful and dreadsome character, etc. Nonetheless, it was good enough. They were able to complement each other in a sense that it gave some congruence to the story.
Sound (8). I know the issues with seiyuu (voice actors) and stuff. It boils to a common denominator as anything else at first glance: budget. However, they were able to fetch some popular seiyuus into the scene, so it might not be the case. They did their job well, I would say. (Nope, I left out my seyuu ships/bias in this rating).
Story (9). Being someone who wished he lived his youth in Japan, I found myself yearning for the experience depicted in this anime. I am a big fan of general knowledge quizzes or questions. The story seems to follow yet another stereotypical turn, but nah, that's the fault in the manga. Anime is merely an adaptation. I find myself hooked with how such a newbie adjusts and adapts, bringing out what he can.
Enjoyment (10). Like what I said in the Story, I liked this anime because I am personally into general knowledge. Each episode is a bunch of suspense and fun, and each week gives me such unbearable impatience. I find myself pressing on the pause button to guess along, trying to test my knowledge.
Overall (9). The anime is titled "Nanamaru Sanbatsu" and the translation "Fastest Finger First" diverted the focus somewhere else (from the goal: "7 correct, 3 incorrect" to the basic skill each player needed) and that is crap. But that doesn't belong to this score of (9). This score is because I diminish from my attention what is not that important for me, and I focused on what made me enjoy-- what makes me watch this anime in the first place. A lot of popular titles can't even make me sustain my focus and end up feel bland, but this one stole my attention.

Story: 10
Art: 8
Sound: 9
Character: 10
Enjoyment: 10
Overall: 9
I watched it today at a local cinema, and it was beyond what I expected. I wrote a review because maybe people need an opinion from people who didn't read the manga. [Note: I'll be reading it, thanks for telling us about the existence of loopholes]. My entire review may be too focused on the story, sound and enjoyment.
I like the film and enjoyed it very much. The main reason why I was attracted to this film was its psychological complexity. I only thought it would only be about bullying and ostracism in a handicapped person, but I was
...
wrong. The first minute of the movie itself presented that Shouya was more psychologically "damaged" than what I expected.
I heard/read a lot about the Japanese society appraising handicapped/disabled people very low. I could see that the movie tried to address that these people are also humans like them, able to feel emotions and are more sensitive to negative feedback.
The rawness of human emotions itself was well-presented. The excruciatingly painful actuality of the subject of bullying was presented so well, it really left me continually pondering on it hours after I finished watching the movie. Of course, since the story revolved on bullying, it was a well-done depiction of bullying and its aftereffects on both the bullied and the bully. It attacks you using some of the basic concepts of man being a social being.
However, seeing the reviews about some of the characters losing their backstory is clearly correct. Some of te characters felt like why were they even there. Well since people seem to imply these people have a significance in the story, I'll get on their word and read the manga.
The use of silence was appropriate; in fact, it seems to emphasize that Shouko was hearing impaired. The voice acting of the seiyuus deserves an applause-- especially Hayami Saori-san. They conveyed the emotions through voices so well. Probably the reason why they lessened the use of music was because it was made to be enjoyed by both of normal hearing and of hearing-impaired.
The use of symbolism in the film is remarkable. It accented events and concepts in the story rather beautifully.

Story: 10/10
I loved how it was very cliche in all forms but this was overcome in some form or another. The very unique flow of the story, the shoujo feels, and the very much creative presentation and twists included were superb.
Art: 9/10
I am not very particular in art, myself, but well seeing that the characters were drawn appropriately and matching their overall aura, so and so. The emotions and scenes were well portrayed (in my standards maybe).
Character: 9/10
An otaku and a salaryman. I don't know but it already sounded exciting to me, next to knowing the BLCD cast. And the addition of Akiba Satoru in
...
the story (which I didn't expect, adding his roles and what he has done there) was very much welcome. Akiba Ayumu wasn't overly doing things (but him being a 30-year-old youthful looking person is something I've seen somewhere already). Hasegawa Yuuki was very normal I guess, except his profound backstory is a good chance to deepen his character (or am I making sense here?)
Enjoyment: 10/10
The hardcore fudanshi in me has totally loved it. There are the fluffy scenes and the smutty scenes and Satoru's presence was definitely something that spiced up the story. Great!
Overall: 10/10
I liked it very much. The story has made me smile/laugh at the comedy and at the same time get the romantic feels that the two created. I just pretty much wished they had more 'interaction' (both wholesome and smutty) after the end of the story.
