the vibe is soooo similar -goofy humour, similar artstyle: simple character design and artstyle but still supremely animated (esp the fight scenes, god the fight scenes.) -both mains kinda awkward guys, go berserk at some point -the small town/small village feeling with the cast of goofy characters -kind of episodic storyline that then evolves into full main storyline in the latter half of the show -cast of characters around one concept (psychics in MP100 vs assassins in CWL) -"bad" shadow organization

alternative fantasy world, magical elements, adventure (even small elements like sacrificing children, religious village customs) while on the surface plot they're not similar, their themes are, however the mc of Land is not immortal (no one is, because everyone dies at 50. trying to achieve immortality is a sin in the village)

Bot are tales of an inhuman creature becoming human. Both have fairy tale vibes and a more or less historical setting. More detail: An immortal/demonic/superhuman/inhuman protagonist on a journey to become "human". Both are strange acting/mysterious protagonists with a very young sidekick that teaches it how to be human. Dororo focuses on the regaining of senses and limbs while Fushi has all of its senses and limbs but has to try and become human socially speaking. Dororo is set in historical samurai era japan.

High school rom-com setting, Comedy comes from the lack of experience the main lead has with sex, will-they-won't-they confession chase Parallels: In this anime the guy is popular and the girl is plain, in BGHK the girl is popular and the guy is plain It may be due to personal bias but B Gata H Kei was more enjoyable as it focused on the comedy trough all 12 episodes and more satisfying as the characters get a lot closer to banging. In Otome-domo it felt like the topic of sex was just another overlay to spice up a typical love triangle high school romance. Though i dislike the melodrama, Otome-domo is a lot more serious and incorporates the theme of sex trough different lenses and experiences and thus creates variety
