This was ridiculous, for lack of a better word it was campy. None of it makes sense, and if you're paying attention, it still doesn't make sense. The biggest let down of this is that it has nothing to do with batman. I actually came in hoping for something really cool, and obviously about batman, but the dialogue in this movie was so uncharacteristic of our iconic heroes. The world building in the dark fantasy of Goblin Slayer is great; Its mechanics are thoroughly fleshed out because of Its D&D influences. This anime would be leaps and bounds better if certain scenes weren't so sexualized. Goblin Slayer could have been an 8, especially with its pretty animation. If you enjoy gore, this is a good anime for you, with such a clean picture. Learning more about the adventurer whom the people have named "Goblin Slayer" is a story of grief and hatred.
