I've watched a couple of yaoi and this was something else... While I wasn't a huge fan of the art, I gave it a try anyways and got used to it. What I could not get used to was the rape theme. In all, there was probably almost a dozen rape scenes. There was no Stockholm Syndrome or real attachment, it was more like submission. It took almost all four OVA segments to come to a point where Ayase is willingly participating.
There was some character development though. Kanou becomes less aggressive, and overall more likable as the OVAs run.
