While both anime give off similar vibes, have the MC reincarnated to a fantasy world from a world that resembles ours, and have them work hard from childhood to become stronger - The World’s Finest Assassin is everything Jobless Reincarnation is not. It’s better. It lacks the mystical element of the older title, but it’s execution is far smoother. Especially for those who would not prefer to see the MC develop “unusual feelings” for his 12/13 y/o cousin. And it’s not feelings of love I’m talking about. And for those who do, Finest Assassin will still be enough of a home for your anime-viewing pleasure.

- Both main characters are geniuses ~ Ikta (tactical) ~ Ernesti (engineering) -Both main characters have a good group of trusted friends -Both series have wars -Both series are fast paced ~Though K&M is a little better with its pacing. -Both series are set in a fantasy land -Both series have magic ~Spirits in Alderamin ~Regular magical ability in K&M -Both series have improvements made to remain on top ~ K&M decks out their mechas ~ Alderamin decks out their strategy game Alderamin is like the more realistic, thoughtful older brother to K&M, and while not as flashy, is entertaining all the same. These shows have different feels to them, but what them both, and you'll see yourself pointing out the little similarities which makes you feel glad you can hold onto some kind of nostalgia from one show or the other.

In Isshuukan Friends, Hase Yuuki's interaction with Kiryuu Shougo reminds me of the friendship between Tadakuni, Hidenori, and Yoshitake in Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou. The elements of comedy in each series are similar and will make you laugh in almost the same way. Both series have that beautiful slice-of-life feel to them. In fact, both series are listed as Comedy, School, Shounen, and Slice of Life. If you loved one series, you will surely love the other.

Pupipo!

Like Himeji Wakaba (Pupipo!), Watanuki Kimihiro (xxxHolic) can see things that others can't; spirits. Both are bothered by this ability. That is, until Watanuki stumbles upon a strange house inhabited by Yuuko (a witch), and Wakaba stumbles upon a pink monster she calls "Po-chan." Po-chan protects Wakaba from the spirits she sees, and Yuuko similarily protects Watanuki (but in an abstract and teacher-like fashion). Unlike Watanuki, Wakaba doesn't have the possibility to get rid of her spiritual sight. In this respect, Watanuki is more like Naoya Yuuki (Pupipo!), a boy who would give anything to get rid of his spiritual sight. -Pupipo! is a cute supernatural anime, in an elementary school-type setting. -xxxHolic is a dark supernatural anime, focused on Yuuko's store, and a grown-up environment. *Both animes are a beautiful watch, and the art style indeed seems to have a resemblance to one another. If you like supernatural animes, you'll like either of these. Enjoy!

C: The Money of Soul and Possibility Control
|
Blue Exorcist and [C] are not similar in many ways. However, where they are similar is astonishing, and quite amusing. Both animes have two worlds parallel to each other. And both parallel worlds "invade" "reality." For [C], the money invades, but for Blue Exorcist, the demons are the ones that invade. Both animes have fun fight scenes. And the fight scenes are mostly about the main character. However, I felt that [C] focused more on other characters, unlike Blue Exorcist, which was all about Rin. The main characters Okumura Rin (Blue Exorcist) and Yoga Kimimaro ([C]) are not alike in any respect, besides being the main protagonist of the show. Another final detail that made these animes alike is the similarity between two very amusing characters: Mephisto Pheles (Blue Exorcist) and Masakaki ([C]). They are both very intriguing, and share a similar personality. Besides, the smiles are similar. And they both "help" their own main characters. So, I'm not going to say that if you liked one, you'll like the other, because they're hardly similar at all. I can just say that if you liked Masakaki, you'll like Mephisto, and if you liked Mephisto, you'll like Masakaki. These two animes don't even have a similar feel apart from these characters. But you'll probably like both, because in their own respect, they're both very interesting apart from one another.
