Arslan Senki

The main protagonists have a lot of similarities. They both had their families taken away from them, both wish to restore what was rightfully theirs one way or another, both have to fight against political forces of one country or another. Both mangas have heavily stylized and distinctive art styles. Both take place in semi-historical settings, although Arslan Senki is a bit more fantastical since it's based off of a legend. Both are fairly non-standard European, Japanese settings you would otherwise get in a manga/anime production. Martial arts, war, and politics are all major themes in both mangas. You get the gist.

Kingdom

Both are based on famous periods in Chinese history. Both have a heavy emphasis on generalship, philosophy, and warfare. Stylistically, they are both among the more unique of comic kind, with Kingdom opting for a more bold brush stroke style, and RoT opting for an exaggerated realist aesthetic. Both are equally good. Both feature an immense cast of characters that you have to keep track of. Neither feature completely "good" guys that you would typically find in a shounen manga. Both mangas already have preordained endings that are set in history but play with the "how" and why" of the events, while sometimes altering the characters' roles to create a more interesting story. For example Ying Zheng is not a tyrant, although we do not know if he becomes one, while Lu Bu is not the one note brute that everyone assumes he is.
