I absolutely hate using this word, but these shows have the exact same vibe. A lot of the scenes and humor have a very similar feel to them. Even the character designs are almost exactly the same lol

Vivy and VE both tackle very similar themes and have very similar messages. Vivy herself and Violet are almost the same exact character, in that they start as near blank slates, and through viewing people and their emotions, cone to understand the human condition and feelings.

Besides the fact that both series' names begin with a V, on the surface it doesn't look like there is a whole lot in common between these series on the surface. However, Thorfinn and Violet are strikingly similar characters, in many ways. They're so similar in fact, that I almost think that Violet is directly inspired by Thorfinn. This comparison will make a lot more sense when Vinland Saga season 2 comes out.

Without giving away too much about the plot for either of these animes, I'll say that both have some... very very very similar events and characters :(

Spy x Family

This seems like a weird comparison, but I'll explain. Spy x Family and Vivy are both animated by the same studio; Wit. One of Spy x Family's most underrated aspects is it's action scenes, which are strikingly similar to Vivy's. The choreography and animation are done in almost the same way, so if you like the action and combat in one of these shows, you'll like it in the other.

Both are classic 90s animes that I think are a must watch for everyone. If you liked one of these, you'll probably like the other. The art styles are similar, and they have very interesting takes on the sci-fi genre.

Mob Psycho and JJK have basically the exact same premise; there are spirits harassing people around Japan, so we have to go stop them! Mob Psycho uses this in a more comedic approach, while JJK does the opposite, being much more serious, and relying much more on it's action. Both are great shows, and its really interesting to see how they both handle a very similar story concept.

I think overall FMAB is the better show, but AOT is really the only show that I can compare it to. Both have some of the best characters and world building in all of fiction, if you like one of these shows, I would bet a lot of money that you would like the other.

A time travel mystery about a boy trying to save a girl, while also trying to uncover the reason behind her death. Probably the most similar show to Steins; Gate that I've seen, but it is significantly worse.

The main character dies over and over again, each time resetting his life a few days, to try and save his friends. Only similar to Steins; Gate in concept, the execution is very different.
