Both have the basic taboo story about the relationship between student and teacher although Kodomo no Jikan does it to a more extreme. For Yasashii Sekai no Tsukurikata is this one of the dramas in the series while Kodomo no Jikan pretty much did every taboo possible. Besides the drama both series are comedies and have funny moments. Kodomo no Jikan focuses more on ecchi taboo comedy while Yasashii Sekai no Tsukurikata focuses on romance comedy scenes.
