Both the manage are written by the same author (Kizu Natsuzi) that's why the art style as well as stories have the same look and feel. Links focus on building relations and realizing mutual feelings for each other. On the other hand, Given is about finding the true meaning of feelings and more through friendship with a little help from Music^^. Both are must reads.

The first season scored a 10 and season 2 is also on the same lines...10 again! What a fabulous way of creating realistic affection and emotion in Anime, this is genius. I'll recommend this anime series to anyone whose in love with "love" itself or one who loves his friends and family or has fallen in love... even if it was for just a few precious moments... "Itazura na Kiss" is also about developments of love between two people of completely different personalities. Sawako and Kotoko share similar traits (Sawako is naive and timid while Kotoko is naive and stupid) but both ladies face their challenges head-on. Kazeheya and Naoki are also similar they are both popular guys (Kaze is cheerful while Naoki is aloof), but they aren't honest about their own feelings. Both the anime's also share a fabulous supporting cast and wonderful dose of dramady (comedy + drama).
