If you love medical-themed titles, or maybe someone who just loves Science, then consider giving this one a try.
While it's an isekai title involving many fantasy elements, the author managed to perfectly introduce medicinal and even basic Science knowledge without looking too unbelievable. The artist also managed to portray the author's story in a beautiful way.
I don't have any knowledge in medicine aside from the things that were taught in high school. Fortunately, the story managed to explain technical things in a simple way so I don't feel that alienated while reading it. It's well-researched and it doesn't feel pretentious to me.
The only comment
...
I have about this title is its characterization. Aside from the main character, supporting characters aren't that fleshed out yet. But that is understandable given that it's been just 40 chapters. I also like that the main character have realistic expectations. He knows he can't save everyone, but he still does everything he can to save lives.
Overall, I'd give it a score of 8. It's a well-researched story with many fun elements.

Is Isekai Shokudou 2 worth watching?
If you’re a fan of the show’s prequel, you'll probably enjoy this show. Isekai Shokudou 2 can be watched without seeing the first season, but having watched its prequel gives more context about the things that are happening in this show. While it has an isekai element where customers are brought to another world, it’s a slice of life foremost. I definitely recommend watching both seasons, especially if you’re a fan of slice of life anime.
Story
Isekai Shokudou 2 follows an episodic formula just like the first season, with each episode introducing new characters and adding to the overall worldbuilding in
...
the show. It doesn’t have any complicated plot and can be enjoyed by everyone. It’s a show that’s faithful to its premise. If you enjoyed the worldbuilding and character introductions in the first season, you’ll enjoy this one too.
Sound and Animation
The sound, especially the soundtracks, really fits in well with the overall feel of the show. The opening and ending songs are lighthearted; perfect for a slice of life anime. The studio also did great in handling the sound of little things like when someone bites into their food, or when the Master prepares food.
As for the animation, those who’ve watched the first season can tell that the art style changed in the second season due to the changing of the animation studio. While the first season is better in terms of lighting and background details, the second season did great in character interactions and food detail. Both seasons are great in their own ways.
Final comments
Overall, if you’re looking for a show to watch after a long day, then I definitely recommend this show. It’s a good slice of life anime that doesn’t have any complicated plot and that isn’t a bad thing. Just try eating first before watching an episode of this show.

Let’s make this review short.
If you’re looking for a show that has lots of action like Sword Art Online, this show probably isn’t for you. There are a lot of dialogues; discussions about politics, economy, and other topics will likely bore the typical viewer that enjoys watching action-filled shows. The show also requires you to have watched the previous seasons or at least do some online research to get an idea of what’s happening.
Going over the technical aspects of the show, the sound and animation are just average compared to the other popular shows airing in the same season. Pacing is also an issue
...
for some viewers.
The show has a lot of flaws and will not appeal to everyone. But if you’re still willing to give it a chance, Log Horizon has also a lot of things to offer.
One of Log Horizon’s greatest strengths is its worldbuilding. Dialogues about politics, economy, and MMORPG mechanics aren’t just there for show. It plays a role in advancing the story and helping you gain more insights into the world of Theldesia. The way this information is explained isn’t forced and is simple to understand. It also adds depth to the characters by letting you know their motivations behind their actions.
Another great thing about Log Horizon is its strong MMORPG elements. The way the MMORPG concepts in the show are explained and applied tells you that the author is someone who has played MMORPGs. Most of the big fights in the show are often portrayed through raids that involve many characters fighting a stronger opponent.
If you’re someone who appreciates the little details that contribute to worldbuilding, you’ll enjoy the dialogues about politics, economy, and MMORPG mechanics that separate the show from the others.
Some may find the story this season to be weaker compared to the previous seasons, but that doesn’t mean that it’s a bad story. The first half can be a bit dragging for some with all the dialogues, but you'll see more action scenes in the second half of the show.
If you're a long-time fan of the series, definitely give this one a try.

Don't let the fan service discourage you from giving this show a try. Harukana Receive is more than just that.
What makes Harukana Receive different from other sports anime this season is that it's light and fun to watch. This is one of those shows that I'd like to watch after a tiring day or when I just want to watch something and relax.
The story isn't complicated but it's definitely not shallow. The characters are lovable. While we often see them just enjoying beach volleyball, we also get to see the competitive side of it and see how different characters react to the frustrations of losing.
...
Definitely, one of the good points of this anime in my opinion.
I'll have to give credit to C2C and other involved studios for the art. The way they portrayed Okinawa, it's very vibrant. It makes you want to visit the place. The atmosphere definitely feels like Summer.
On the informative side, you get to learn a number of jargon in beach volleyball. People who don't know anything about volleyball are being introduced to different terms like 'cut shot' and 'pokey'.
The soundtrack also fits very well with the show. Kadokawa just released the soundtrack preview for the show and it was great.
Now, some people might get discouraged because of the fan service of the show. But these called "fan service" aren't even presented in a perverted way. It's sexy and cute, but it doesn't present the characters as something that exists just for fan service.
If you just want to watch a light and easy to watch anime without some over complicated plot or some cringe-worthy characters, then go ahead and give this show a try.

Many people will probably dismiss Imouto sae Ireba Ii. as another Eromanga-Sensei, or straightly drop the show after seeing the first minutes of Episode 1. People can’t blame them since the first episode was a giant normie filter.
Nevertheless, you shouldn’t judge it based on just the first impression.
If you’re someone who’s new to watching anime, or someone who’s not comfortable watching 'unconventional' scenes, then this anime will probably throw you off. There’s a huge amount of sexual comments even in the first episode. The show doesn’t hold back when it comes to fan service. It’s a giant normie barrier.
Your normie friend will go
...
crazy watching this show.
But if you can overlook these things, there are many things that this anime has to offer.
Let's skip discussing the plot and focus on two things that makes this anime good.
On Being Informative:
These are just small details, but the little explanation they add on some topics was a nice addition. For instance, the hometown tax, a system introduced in Japan in 2008, was briefly mentioned and explained in episode 4 of the anime.
You just learned about taxes in an anime that has “Imouto” in its name. The anime also gives information about different things like drinks every episode. An example of that is the daiginjo sake featured in Episode 6.
Nowadays, it's not common to find an anime that can both inform and entertain the viewers.
On the Characters' Interactions:
One of the good things about this anime is the characters’ interactions. It’s nothing spectacular but it’s definitely enjoyable. Scenes like Haruto and Itsuki getting teased, Miyako sympathizing with everyone, or when Itsuki struggles to meet the deadlines. We even get a general idea about the life of Light Novel authors in this anime.
So..
Should you watch Imouto sae Ireba Ii.?
The show isn’t something spectacular, but it definitely has many things to offer. It’s a great and enjoyable anime that doesn’t have any complicated plot. Give it a try and watch a few episodes before deciding if you like it or not.
Overall, I'll give it 8/10.

I've watched the movie in theaters so I decided to do a review about it. Please do take note that I didn't watch the 1993 film nor read the manga adaptation.
This review will be solely based on the anime adaptation.
Minor spoilers ahead:
"Fireworks, Should We See it from the Side or the Bottom?" or simply "Fireworks" was an enjoyable movie, but has some elements that can be considered problematic for other audiences. However, don't let these things discourage you from watching this film.
Art Style:
The art style just screams Shaft. The way they did the art style was really great. The still moments, the scenery, the character
...
designs; all was greatly animated and was enjoyable to watch especially on the big screen. The only thing that bothers me was the use of CGI in the early parts of the film.
Plot:
This is where the problem is at for many viewers. While the plot was not really bad as some exaggeratedly claims, it's not something that's easy to understand for others. There was no explanation of how things happened. The extent of the characters' relationships were not expounded. However, what I find great about the film was the use of fireworks and the idea of "If" to progress the plot.
Characters:
The characters' interactions, specifically between Nazuna and Norimichi was enjoyable. The movie has its nice moments. There were also some funny moments throughout the film, which were a nice addition in building their characters. Unfortunately, many characters were not developed. Some of the characters' motivations will just leave you confused. But of course, we don't discount some factors on why they act like that such as their age and their background.
Sound:
Definitely one of the best parts of the film. The different soundtracks throughout the film such as "Ruri-iro no Chikyuu" by Hirose Suzu and "Forever Friends" by DAOKO were great. The ending theme was just so good; a great soundtrack to end the film.
Overall, Fireworks was an enjoyable film. It's not something phenomenal but it has its strong points to make you consider watching it.

Fortunately, 'No Game No Life: Zero' was screened in my country so I managed to watch it on big screen. Madhouse, you beautiful creature. Bless everyone who made this movie possible.
Let's go with the important question first:
Should you watch this movie?
Those who love or enjoyed 'No Game No Life' or NGNL should definitely watch the movie as it serves a prequel to the said TV series. While it can still be enjoyed regardless of whether you watched the TV series or not, I strongly recommend that you watch 'No Game No Life' first.
Story:
The story takes place six thousand years before the arrival of Sora
...
and Shiro into the world of Disboard. It mainly follows the story of Shuvi and Riku as they try to put an end to the Great War on Disboard.
There are some parts of the movie that might leave the viewers baffled if they haven't watched the TV series. But overall, the movie managed to tell a great story. It gave more depth to the world of NGNL.
Art:
The art style and color scheme managed to create a unique atmosphere for the movie. While the art style is similar to NGNL, it managed to differentiate itself through its color scheme. The action scenes, for me, is probably one of the best things about this movie. Bless you, Madhouse.
Sound:
The soundtracks were great, especially in establishing the atmosphere of a scene. But what I love the most is the ending soundtrack of the movie. It really fits well with the feels of NGNL Zero.
Character:
I cried. I just wanted them to be happy. Why did you have to do that, Jibril? Putting all those things aside, I really enjoyed the interactions between the characters. My only problem is that there was little character development for most of the characters. But that is understandable considering the duration of the movie.
Enjoyment:
As mentioned earlier, NGNL Zero can be enjoyed even if you haven't saw the TV series yet. But to fully appreciate it, it is strongly recommended that you watch NGNL first.
Will I watch it again if given a chance?
Fuck yes.
Personally, it's a 10/10 for me. This anime managed to give the the hype and excitement that I was looking for.

Updated Review.
Warning: Minor Spoilers Ahead.
I'll be tackling some things here that I believe is part of the anime's strong points.
First of all, the art style and animation.
You'll probably thinking, "are you serious? The art style is probably one of the anime's weak points!". Well, I beg to disagree. While the art style definitely doesn't appeal to a certain number of viewers, I can say that the art style fits in very well. Take a look at the battle between Gran and Tiamat as an example. Coupled with a great soundtrack, the art style and animation gives you a certain feel; telling you that you're watching
...
a fantasy genre anime.
Sure, there are times wherein the art style looks a little bit awkward. But you can definitely rely on the art style and animation when it comes to the action scenes.
On the other hand, the details on the environment is something worth mentioning. Take a look at the details of Auguste Isles as an example. You can see that an effort was made when it comes to the backgrounds. Heck, you can even turn them into desktop backgrounds.
Speaking of soundtracks, the OP and ED fits very well in the anime. With BUMP OF CHICKEN doing the opening, I don't have that much anything to say. The ED is probably one of my favorite soundtracks in this anime since it gives you a certain feeling; like someone who's about to go an a long journey. The soundtracks, especially when they fight a Primal Beast is something also worth mentioning. Definitely one of the strong points of this anime.
The anime, especially its art style, is not something that will appeal to everyone. But that doesn't mean that it's a bad anime. It's an enjoyable watch; a breath of fresh air. The characters' interactions are natural. The development between Gran and Lyria's relationship doesn't seem to be forced. Everyone's interactions are enjoyable.
Every episode, at least up to the 12th episode, actually contributes to the main plot. Granblue Fantasy The Animation is doing a great job at advancing the plot and developing the characters. You won't find that much drama here. Just mostly adventure.
If you'll ask me if I'll recommend it to other people, I'll definitely say yes.
Speaking objectively, I'll give it something between 8 and 9. Though, personally, it's already a 9 for me since it transgress from your usual Fantasy genre anime.

Ansatsu Kyoushitsu: 365-nichi no Jikan is a compilation film of the Assassination Classroom TV series. While the film is mostly a compilation, I strongly advise that you finish the whole series before watching this.
There's not much to say about the Art and Sound since it's almost the same with the TV Series. When it comes to enjoyment, I couldn't say that I "enjoyed" it since ninjas are cutting onions in the film.
So here's the question: Should you watch it?
Definitely. One thing worth noting is that the film have anime-only epilogue scenes. Unfortunately, many details were left out since the film only has around 90
...
minutes of run time. I was also hoping for more epilogue scenes, or maybe some adapted scenes from Korotan D (search it if you don't know).
Nevertheless, it still managed to give an emotional impact especially for those who loved the series.

I'm glad that this is not a sequel. The ending of the main series was already great the way it is.
I'll keep this review short to avoid any spoilers.
91 Days Special is mostly focused on the Vanetti family and how they rose into power, while the later part of the episode is focused on the interaction between Angelo Lagusa and Nero Vanetti. All these information contributes to the overall story of 91 Days; givings us an idea behind the characters' motivations.
So, should you watch this episode?
I'd definitely recommend watching it since it add details to the overall story. But of course, you can still
...
enjoy the main series even without watching this so the decision is up to you.
