The first ever Isekai anime I have been able to watch properly, thanks to the non-existence of unnecessary harems, fanservice and the fantastical plot of defeating the big bad villain or whatever! I couldn't be more grateful for the anime focusing on food. I have wanted to watch gourmet genre anime for so long - ever since Yumeiro Patissiere, tbh - and the standards it set for me have made me extremely picky.

This was my first food-centred anime after fucking 9 years!! And I enjoyed myself thoroughly!! The comedy was amazing with the entertaining characters of Fel & Sui! I just can't stop my heart ... from doing backflips cuz of the sheer cuteness of Sui :”””) And ofc Fel and Mukuoda having these married couple vibes from the beginning adds to the comedy. LMAO. I can never get enough of how Mukuoda treats Sui as the cute child (he is, hehe) who can sway his heart in just 2 sentences, whereas Fel is the one who is usually made to listen to Mukuoda! The great and legendary Fenrir being shushed is too funny.

Another thing I'm very happy with is the power dynamic within the trio. Mukuoda has his magical powers, and even though he has been blessed by 3 Goddesses, his familiars being absolutely OP which leads to him being perfectly safe, gives me a lot of assurance, what with the PTSD of characters dying left and right in some animes… I'm also quite relieved that most of the characters Mukuoda encounters are friendly to him! Makes the stops in different cities a lot more peaceful for the viewer, imo.

Another thing I just realised is that although I started watching this anime for the food, I kept watching for the trio and their antics, adventures and the many fun moments that will come next. Towards the end, I didn't even pay much attention to the food, lol. It shows how good the overall writing of this show is! Though some may feel that it diverts from the theme of food, it gives us a lot more in addition, which I'm quite delighted with!

I’m extremely satisfied and filled with joy with this anime, and I can't wait for the next season.

On the quest of searching for an anime that would break my heart and make me cry a river, I found one that heals my already broken and fatigued heart, episode by episode! :")

I expected this anime to be pretty sad based off the various reviews I had known about. However, its not right to simply label Frieren: Beyond Journey's End a sad series. Its one with a great emphasis on melancholy. Each episode since the start has had this note etched into it and it does wonders for me cuz it makes my heart hurt just a little instead of breaking it piece by ... piece lol. The plot is engaging due to the focus on not only the main quest but also the side quests. The pacing is perfect with lovable, fleshed out characters! the animation is absolutely gorgeous along with the soundtracks <3 all of this combined makes for an experience worth praising.

Upon completing the show, I'm filled with a great deal of pure satisfaction, happiness and excitement for whats to come next since this journey is far from finished. The First-class Mage Arc felt like a bit of a drag at the start of it but gradually pulled through by creating a healthy, fun and most importantly, unnecessary drama-free examination atmosphere!!

The way this show is the most perfect example of what I consider to be true fantasy is beautifully portrayed. Frieren and party going to different regions, having interesting encounters, keeping up their unique spirit, being formidably strong and maintaining their adorable dynamic is absolutely precious.

I'm so glad I watched this anime!! An absolute masterpiece <3

FUCKIN' PERFECT - is the only way to describe this show.

Right from the first episode, my interest had been piqued and as the episodes went by, I was constantly at the edge of my seat!! The pacing is so good with no plotholes, only suspense and incredible thrill. I wasn't expecting this to be a murder mystery but fuckin hell did I love it?!

Its amazing to see just how much content the studio could squeeze into a 13-ep season. The ending couldn't have been more perfect T-T !!! The characters are well throughout without including unnecessary drama between them to show their growth into ... becoming friends. The MCs Migi and Dali are also really smart, courageous and adorable. Even the antagonists are quite well-written. From time to time the show does give off creepy vibes but I think it just makes it more unique. its a solid mix of suspense, mystery, comedy and heart-warming elements.

I'm genuinely surprised at how underrated this anime is considering I knew about its existence since the first trailer release. its a hidden gem fr! its a must watch IMO and I'm sure its gonna leave you feeling all kinds of emotions. the ending is especially heart touching and could even make a few of us shed some tears. Truly an insane series by an insanely talented author who left us too soon. rest in peace Sano Nami <3

The show Migi to Dali very well deserves a 100/10. idk when was the last time I enjoyed a series from start to finish as much as I enjoyed this! <3
