The relationship between the two main characters is similar. The guy is mean to everyone except his love interest, and he protects + dotes on her.

...then you might like The Third: Aoi Hitomi no Shoujo add

The way the main characters travel to different places and solve problems for other people, the desert setting during their travels, the slightly nostalgic feeling sometimes, and the music is very similar

If you liked I ♥ HS add

...then you might like Teen Spirit add

The art is very similar (everyone's really hot, you won't forget them), even though I love HS is a manga and Teen Spirit is a manhwa. The clothes are very fashionable in both x) Plus,they give off the carefree/lighthearted feeling of being a teenager

If you liked RahXephon add

...then you might like Zegapain add

Both are sci-fi with lots of mecha battles and very similar in their conflicts on what is reality and what is not. Rahxephon has enclosed spaces separate from the outside world where people live oblivious to the actual situation outside of these zones, in which humankind is battling the enemy. They are similar in appearance to the Deutera areas but conceptually like the quantum servers in Zegapain. Also in both anime the enemy appear human though they are not. The main character is in both cases a male and have a love interest.
