Tokyo Revengers was everything I wanted for a short adrenaline rush on a free Friday night. It was enjoyable and certainly worth every minute. I especially loved how the "idiot duo" were re-acting the scene where the main character is liked by Miki.
It also feels good for the main character to be liked by these really strong guys. It just feels satisfying for sone reason, and idk why.
Albeit the girls themselves were kinda lacklustre. Idk, jujustsu Kaisen did it better, but then again, who can do it better than jujutsu Kaiser? But honestly it felt like they were taking a backseat when they
...
could've done a lot more tbh but it wasn't that bad of a hindrance.
Anyways just a really good show.

This is mostly a review for myself when I reference to my writing, so pls don't read.
Why is it a good story? (For me that is...)
I'm not an expert, but from my own personal standpoint, I would say that it would definitely be the subtleties to which everyone brings to the table. It doesn't subscribe to story cliches; rather it tries to make everything raw and personal. But that in itself is hard as it risks the story becoming boring or "fake", and even it failed at some points. Be it when the alpaca was being way too sentimental for it to be realistic
...
or when its slow start made many turn their heads away to something else.
However, it definitely stays true to its roots.
Furthermore, fights and misunderstandings that would normally escalate into a friendship break up are only treated as trivial here -- because these people are understandably adults.
And their opinions along with their supposed "ego" are things you'd see in real life, whether it be the doctor whose subconsciousness believes he is better than the taxi driver, of which he assumes is miserable. Or the cat who believed he 'deserved' something, without actually considering the whole context of the world. Or, to be more specific, his brain recognised it, but his heart didn't which made him essentially a man-child.
The alpaca dancing with her martial arts was also quite funny, and the 'Homo Sapien' comedy duo is an extremely interesting addition to the world. I especially love the outspoken boar, as his outspokenness is -- weirdly enough -- just a sign of his maturity and confidence in himself.
Side characters also all have their respective side stories. All of which tie into each other harmonically. And their dynamics are highly interesting.

March Comes in Like A Lion was just a really sweet watch in general. Likeable characters -- each one which you inevitably root for because they all have something they desperately fight for, and moments which really do make you swoon over with joy or tears.
SPOILERS (For myself only)
I especially like how the sisterhood family wasn't really treated as the idea of a "warm" family that Rei could go back to, but rather a true family that has it's inevitable problems and its warmth disturbed, due to Hina's bullying. Hina's bullying too, felt realistic, and angering. It also felt good that the teacher
...
had a believable motive for being incompetent, and other teachers could -- at least to sone extent -- empathise with her.
Another part which I found to be especially loveable is how they explored different characters. Nikaidou, for example, despite being an incredibly rich boy, has a wonderful attitude and a sickness which cripples him. However his desperation to continue fighting -- jumping into the ocean or so they call it -- makes him seem noble and at the same time a little sad -- because it feels as if like the main character, shogi is all he has left.
This then relates to the match of the "two old men". Something which I can't help but laugh at. I think the author too recognised that the viewers themselves wouldn't be too interested in the match if left alone, and so broke the 4th wall and made that fact into a bit of a comedy to keep them invested. The part where both of them are sick people who make petty remarks at each other was just amazing. And it only gets better when we start to not only build on Shimada's childhood of old people rooting for him, but also Saku-chan's. It really does tie into the quote "beware of an old man in a profession where men die young" or something like that.
The main character becoming soft was also just such a nice and important touch at the end. And I think this series truly does feel special in its own ways.
Every character's banter, even the NPC's feel real and entertaining.

The show's warmth and charm comes from the happiness of a normal family, and the unique personality of Shin-chan that you can't help but feel is charming.
The world is actually really well-built, populated by people of all sorts of quirks and charms, be it the head over heels couple or the library people who communicate with hand signs. The family -- too -- feels as if it could be your family, and the humour -- despite missing that rare time -- is filled with jokes that are just...you know you shouldn't be laughing at them at your age, but they're just so funny.

SPOILER FREE VERSION
Shingeki No Kyoujin is a an anime that I honestly think is going to be one of the masterpieces of our time. It has its flaws -- no doubt -- such as falling victim to some of the oh-so-old shonen troupes, however its pros make them pretty much negligible. Especially the plot twists; they are so good that it almost felt as if the anime jumped genres (and that's not even an exaggeration).
SPOILER VERSION
The incredibly twists where it went from Reiner and Bertholdt's reveal of their identity (the casual way they did it was amazing -- and weirdly enough, it also made
...
sense.) to the reveal of a city outside of the ones they lived in, and a world that is actually making use of titans really does kick this anime into cliche shounen to masterpiece territory.
P.S Levi -- more like, his reliable atmosphere -- is still a wonder to see. *wipes mouth*

March Comes In Like A Lion feels almost like eating a warm bowl of noodles after a bad breakup. The characters either complete someone or leave another feeling completely empty and worthless.
That is part of the charm, but I think the best parts of this anime are the ones where a character's kindness really shines through and leave you loving them all the more. The humour too, compliments this perfectly, as it gives the characters just that little bit of charm necessary to make you head over heels for them.
Albeit the start was admittedly a little boring -- with all the metaphors --
...
but perhaps that was just not for me. I think to some people, that may be why this anime is so special to them.
*SPOILERS*
Below is just for my reference only:
Akari vomit scene was just so hard-hitting. Idk why.
The humour of the shogi players were really funny, possibly because of the bromance displayed.
Main character was admittedly a little boring; however, he had his own charm and he has a lot of room for growth. And it made sense why he grew up the way he did.
Every character gets their spotlight; with everyone havingg interesting backstories — often much more grounded in reality and part of their character rather than something that is only there to “explain” why they are that way.
Funny humour, warm family. Able to create really likeable characters. Notable ones: teacher, the old petty man, hina, literally every old guy.
Old people are often wise. Main character is funny when he has a character break (from nice awkward guy to edgelord in that one scene)
Characters who look like sidecharacters are actually extremely relevant, and no character is treated like a comedy relief or some sort of archetype. They’re all real people.
Has really wise messages.
