i honestly just watched this because i've been following this show since S1
that being said, it really wasn't amazing.
i wouldn't have watched this had there been no nostalgic attachment.
it felt like too much was cramped in too little time
but it also felt a bit dragged.
a lot of small things happening simultaneously
but also, fights that could've been much shorter were relatively dragged.
too many introductions with less context and they came went as soon as they came in.
maybe it's just me but its been so very long since S1, i nearly forgot Eiji's existence and the same goes with PoH.

This anime seemed so promising at first but then it dipped so badly. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Before anything else, I'd like to point out that I have not read the70s manga. So whatever I'm about to list is solely based on the anime no background nothing. SPOILER ALERT!!! 1. My only thoughts in the first episode were- boobs. That's all there was to it. 2. The episode of his parents' death felt so insignificant. It being cut out would've made no difference to the main story whatsoever. It wasn't a turning point in his life and honestly, it didn't even look like it affected him ... |
